I've always found faggotry perplexing and the OP image made me realize why. A lot of existential philosophy (existential thought of any kind) struggles to discover valid by-lanes around the materialist suggestion that human beings are mere organisms and if there is any "purpose" to the vast illusion of intelligent consciousness then it is observably to perpetuate genes and summarily, neatly perish. Elaborate thought and theory often comes off like a big cope in this regard, where the hairless ape contrives reasons for existing because it (the ape) is just so damn smart and somehow the only organism whose finger connects with that of God or whomever alleged, higher and ever-validating being awaits the penultimate arrival of the human mind, the thing and place and event that's meant to provide the struggling and mud-spattered human race with this extramaterial enlightenment and all-illuminating revelation that it's not just another organism in a biome. But then that same niggling impulse, that pesky materialism, the genetic reality, the yearning for fickity-fuck bubbles back to the surface for some mysterious reason when CLEARLY there's more to life. There must be. How could there not? The philosophizer has spent all this time mulling over riddles and complex considerations rooted in the works of people who also spent a disproportionate amount of their finite life doing that (and thankfully writing it down; imagine how unenlightened we'd be if they just had sex instead.) Then some other things happen and suddenly this enlightened and self-aware individual so above the mere rigors of animal existence is sticking their penis into incorrect holes on the incorrect gender and self-flagellating over the absurdity of the universe.
