What is the dividing line between literature and schizo nonsense?
Can you tease out a thread of meaning and logic and see where they're coming from? Okay, now do they justify themselves and keep within the boundaries they've created and create something logically consistent within itself? I don't agree with, say, Evola, but I can spot the perennialist thread with his work and he's right in that yeah, there is a perennialist thread through history. Can't speak for an overworld, and his work on mountains actually is something I agree with. David Ikke is.. well. Something. And how genuine it is. Harassment Architecture is very self conscious, but there's flickers of real in amongst the stuff that's just there for presentation. Evola believes *hard* in what he's writing, to use him again.
>>25198675Tl;dr how genuine it is, how internally consistent it is, how much reality is actually reflected.
the Book of the Law I believe is presented as a book entirely channeled from spirits, so-
What went on in his head?

>>25198667Regardless of what you think of it, The Book of the Law is gorgeous prose. And I'm not just saying that because the book says you'll think that.

schizo nonsense requires at least level 3+ consciousness to be understood
>>25199213thank you
>>25198667>schizo nonsenseYou have already discarded everything you refuse to read or engage with.
>>25198667Literature is that which is actually useful to a modern reader. Things like the occult.Schizo nonsense is things like the abrahamic holy books that have zero value and are obviously untrue.

He who knoweth little, thinketh he knoweth much; but he who knoweth much hath learned his own ignorance. Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool, than of him.>6. Be not hasty to condemn others; how knowest thou that in their place, thou couldest have resisted the temptation? And even were it so, why shouldst thou despise one who is weaker than thyself?

"Compassion is the vice of kings" is a pretty great line though.
>>25199189Not to mention the hidden Qabalistic aspects, which Crowley expounds upon in his commentaries.
>>25198801You mean his wife's head. She (supposedly) dictated the book to him. Although (supposedly) the gods of the new aeon were just using her for a medium.

People tend to call "schizo" the ideas of others because it confronts the assumptions about reality they hold dear which may be wrong after all, so the best defense mechanism it's simply dismiss them as insane and try to convince others of the same out of scaremongering, which funnily enough, demonstrate that they may be wrong after all because if it were true there won't be nothing to fear about an idea after all.
