What was the first book you read that had an explicit sex scene, other than 1984? Pic related, I first read this when I was like 13. Just now reread it for the first time in probably 15 years and got a kick out of it.
>>25216681Probably Disclosure by Michael Crichton.
>>25216681This is the first time I've seen this book mentioned anywhere since I read it when I was 14. I have no clue why but it was on my summer before Freshman year Highschool reading list. I remember it was ahead of its time in hating boomers and Epstein shit. I have no clue if I would like it now but it was fun at the timeTo answer your questions OP I feel like I must've read something with an explicit sex scene prior, like at the very least some sort of literotica or fan fiction. Maybe like a story on reddit. I have no recollection though. Fuck my CTE alcoholic brain's memory (I'm only 27 years old).
There's a book called "To Hell in a Handcart" by Richard Littlejohn, that my mother mistakenly bought me when I was about 11. The cover kind of makes it look like a Terry Pratchett novel. Do a quick search on what that book is about.

I'm embarrassed to talk about it.

Cujo and Firestarter had some risqué passages but the time of feasting had some graphic sex scenes meant to tittillate the reader. Its a modern vampire story set in nyc and the sequel is in la where they fight a scientology like cult trying to summon cthulhu.

The reality dysfunction. Scifi. Hell if a thing when you're 8.
