Anyone here read this book? I hear it's a fun short read, but something in my gut tells me it's gonna disappoint me. Is there anything with a similar vibe, kind of a cosmically kafkaesque overwhelming punishment or realization kinda feel?
>>25218310It’s a good book, made me get a different understanding of the word „eternity“.Michael S Graziaos The Divine Farce is similar, sometimes mentioned in a similar context and it’s incredible. Pic somehow related, it’s also similar

>>25218310I didn't like this. The author tells instead of showing. He won't shut about how Mormon he is. He insists on using terms he found on Wikipedia (Zoroastrianism, Ahura Mazda, Yazata, etc.) and listing the definition rather than just showing their meaning through the story.>>25218350I haven't read this, but I loved Divine Farce. I wish it was longer.
>>25218358The love song of monkey is slightly more plot-based, a tiny bit less focused on form. But really good nonetheless, I might prefer it over The divine farce even
