Currently, I'm reading *The Long Walk* and *On Writing*. What are you guys reading by King?

I just finished 11.22.63 and overall enjoyed it, though it has a huge sagging belly of a middle stretch.

Fairy Tale is the one before that. What a puddle of liquid shit that was. I could feel him getting bore of writing it, and it probably ranks as the worst thing I’ve read by him.

You Like It Darker short story collection before that. Overall pretty good. Loved Rattlesnakes. Impressive to make such a creepy story set in the Florida summer.

Have read on writing in the past. What I enjoy about the book is you get a real sense of just how much he loves writing (unless Fairy Tale that is), and I find that infectious and inspiring. Was pretty funny that he talks about it all and then mentions he’s writing From A Buick 8.

Also recently read King Sorrow by his son Joe. Was pretty impressed but unfortunately felt the book lost control and unravelled a bit towards the end.

So far, I've read *The Shining*, *Misery*, and *Pet Sematary*. Once I finish *The Long Walk*, I'm thinking of reading *Carrie*.

Nothing. I've read "shining" circa 8 years ago and then wanted to read "it", but when I found out, just after few pages in, that there's a scene at the end with 10yo kids having group sex, I got rid of both books and turned away from that perverted fucker forever.

As if horror genre wasn't decadent enough. Reality is the real horror.

Are you enjoying it? Sometimes I think King is too wordy.

>reads Kingslop
>Sometimes I think
Doubtful.

Thinking about reading Duma Key next. I was told it is a peak comfy ghost story.

What do you think so far? I was really not impressed by it, probably the worst of what I’ve read by him.

The Dark Tower series book 7 - The Dark Tower.
Susannah and Patrick are drawing her door to go and be with her boys once more before Roland reaches the Tower. I love and hate how the ka-tet has broken before the end. I also really like his self-instert and how he is constantly insulting himself. This is my second read, but I still got choked up at Eddie's death...
