I am turning 30 shortly. I considered rereading pic related. What literature would you recommend to a man entering his 30s?

Oblomov

The Tartar Steppe
you should reat it at 12, 16, 20 and 30 just to remind yourself on how to not end up like Drogo

Seconding Tartar Steppe.
I plan to reread Pierre; or, the Ambiguities and Ulysses once I hit 30.

I'm 37 and have fucked dozens of women, so you're still a fat gay loser.

If you're in you're 30s you should probably have gotten over the whole 'getting in gay pissy slapfights that derail threads thing' so please shut up, both of you

Do you guys seriously think that getting into some argument with some guy is something anyone else on the thread cares to see? This is the worst thing about the website, every single thread gets hugely derailed with it. 30 year old guys suddenly revert into 13 year olds on the playground when their ego is challenged. I'm actually fairly sure there are shills who go around instigating pointless fights for this reason, to prevent actual discussion from happening.
So yes, I am better for not taking the bait. Be more like me. Really though, it's inconsiderate and shits up the thread for everyone else.

I am OP and I actually quite like when two or three anons get into some stupid pissing contest argument in threads that I start. It's easy enough to just scroll right pass them and read only the relevant replies, but it has the benefit of keeping the thread bumped. Stupid arguments are a crucial part of the 4chan ecosystem actually. If I wanted only friendly, on topic, always mature and professional conversation I'd go to reddit.

do you think you're gonna suffer a stroke if you go 24 hours without being smug

News From Nowhere.
Or just some of the other Russians. Pushkin, Chekov, Gogol, Dostoy, Tolstoy.
The mopey Byronic nihilism period is teenage self indulgence. And anons always take these threads to mean "MORE OF THE SAME". You shouldn't stay in this teenage mindset.
William Morris' simple bucolic piece has stuck with me for years as a wonderful goal, if not societal than personal.
Pechorin's archetype just leads to depression or suicide

I always wondered why people don’t talk about Lermontov more. A Hero of Our Time Is ridiculously good, like right up there with the absolute greatest Russian literature of the 19th century.

A book on yoga, your body is going to start degrading and yoga is the easiest way to remain flexible and pain-free.
