Why is classical or academical literature so boring?

Is just nice rethorical tricks about some "realism" non commercial story about some family issue or political shit or social commentary.

And to read basically some mitwit centuries ago poems about the rural life of 16 century bohemia, is just boring.

Non fiction from modern college textbooks is clearly a superior way to learn philosophy, political theory, economics, theology, law, history.

Also, the stories done centuries ago are usually much worse than modern anime and manga.

And honestly It's more entertaining to read harem isekai monogatari while I stroke my dick to it, than shit like the bronte sisters or reading moby dick.

Literature is just an obsolete medium when you have mangas and anime and cinema.
