Does anyone know of any English language books that offer unbiased, detailed accounts of the Yugoslav Wars, with a particular focus on Croatia and Bosnia? Big ask, I know.It seems like every book I've come across either whitewashes the Bosniaks/Croats or Serbs.For example, something that acknowledges that the U.S. sabotaged the Carrington–Cutileiro Plan causing the war in Bosnia, and that Tudjman's Holocaust denial, appointment of Ustaše veterans and denial of Serbian minority status is what caused the war in Croatia, but also acknowledges that the Serbs committed horrific atrocities and crimes against humanity, arguably larger in scale than their enemies. Basically how the Serbs had the high ground in jus ad bellum, whereas the Bosniaks/Croats and west had the high ground in jus in bello.
