I dropped a book halfway trough 3 months ago. Would it be considered okay to pick it up and resume reading or should I start over?
>Would it be considered okay i have no clue what you guys are talking about half the time, i don't understand your model of the world
>>25244228If you read1/3 or less of the book, reread 2/3 depends on how much you remember Above 2/3 continue from where you where

>>25244237nah
>>25244239Then dont complain fucking incel
>>25244228I personally would wait a few more months to pick it up again and start over. But after only 3 months, I would say it depends on the book. If it is something with a focus on story, it would make sense to start over again. There may be fine details you don't remember that could destroy the story a little. It it is random rambling without any focus on a story, like Bernhard or some of Houellebecqs books, I wouldn't care. Have fun anon. I hope you will have a nice day and enjoy reading the book.
>>25244228You need to consult the Pagemaster on what to do.Only the Pagemaster can tell you when it's okay to resume reading from where you left off and when you must start over.Consult the Pagemaster and ignore his commands at your own peril.
>>25244228What a retarded question
>>25244228did it occur to you that what book it is might be an important piece of information to answer that??
>>25244308>>25244269>>25244234Socially retarded>>25244236>>25244247Normal
>>25244318mad
>>25244228You have to contact the author and ask them. If they are dead then you need to do a séance.
>>25244228you've disappointed both the author and book itself
>>25244269Sounds risky
>>25244228you’ll need to submit a request for resumption, i think that’s a B32-H. You should get a response within 10 to 500 business days.
>>25244228questions i can vividly imagine being asked in a speciel needs class
>>25244579It is. OP would have been much better off had he never dropped the book at all, but finding, approaching, and humbly beseeching the Pagemaster for advice in situations such as these is far less risky than trying to decide for yourself. Godspeed, OP. You have a long and dangerous journey ahead of you.
yo there has to be like a cheesy af 80s movie called the pagemaster on one of those sketch channels on bitchute with all the chitty movies lmao hell ya a goal for my vacation is blaze some trees and watch bad 80s movies
>>25244228I won't beat around the bush. You're fucked.

>>25246075Strictly speaking, you did finish the book since the paratext exists outside the central text.
