I read it in jail. You learn to appreciate a 1000 page book when you are in a cell most of the day. Even if it is slop. The chud kid who went psycho in the shirts bunker was an interesting character though sadly underutilized.
The Stand sucks, but I couldn't even get 1/4 of the way through Swan Song.

>>25246375I have no problem with people saying they love or hate the stand. I think all the criticisms the book gets are well deserved.BUT. If you dont like the first part of the stand thats crossing the line. Pretty much everything before them finally meeting the grandma is perfect
