It rather quickly collapsed back into just liches vs barbarians but there's a lot more to be done on that front.I'd also suggest revisiting the even briefer era of Liberal Arts sci-fi (Foundation, Space Beagle, Dune, Diamond Age) where this or that segment of the humanities is fantastically exaggerated to the status of a preternatural asset and takes center stage vs the technology.Sci-fi didactics for example could be neat and be a sufficiently strong Aesop about the quality of modern schooling to resonate with a broad base.
