This is even more absurd because what humanity calls "love" is idealised when compared to what "human love" actually is. "Human love" is full of fucked up shit about control and power, etc.

Only through the total disconnect from the voyeur that is society can our idealised version of "love" exist. However, the idea of creating a human society is also a major human ideal.
In general, this is a manifestation of how subhuman the human species is. There are all these ideals about what being a Human means, but no Homo sapien can live up to all of them.
