What's the literary equivalent?
>>
>>25250616
Superhero comics.
>>
>>25250616
Robarts
>>
>>25250616
Dean Koontz
>>
As an oldfag, Death Grips is the only thing from recent culture that I have heard that expresses real anger in the sense that I (a gen-xer) can understand. I know of no literature that expresses this sort of anger, it is not really something that literature is good at, to analytical. A great deal of literature does examine this sort of anger, but it doesn't really express it.
>>
>>25250631
No one will ever care about what gen x thinks about anything.
>>
>>25250638
How is that any different from any other generation? We only care about our own generation. Way to miss the point.
>>
>>25250631
Lol there is like 1000 gen x left alive bro they all got alzaimer or old like shiet
>>
>>25250631
>oh my onions this nigger screeching like a tweaker is so raw and artistic!!! our bull is going to looooooove this
>>
>>25250641
>How is that any different from any other generation?
Gen X is literally the most irrelevant generation ever.
>>
only Xer's could produce something as cringe as zoomers
>>
>>25250645
>is so raw and artistic
...it kinda is, though. im sorry but I can't pretend that Exmilitary isn't an incredible album
>>25250616
there's no literary equivalent because they're separate mediums entirely. if you really, really want to stretch it, maybe burroughs? ginsburg's howl, I guess?

why do all the soiteens come out at night? is it because they are brown and this is their peak posting time?
>>
>>25250671
By that logic you are brown.
>>
>>25250673
no i'm just fond of stimulants
>>
>>25250664
What the fuck did you expect old bitch? You out yourself as a boomer and then be like yeah we were so angry and antisistem, we all fucking hate millenials you didnt have to change shit things were good you fucked it up for people after
I am glad all millenials i know are fuck ups mogged by gen z
>>
>>25250675
So, brown?
>>
>>25250678
meth is a white mans drug sir
>>
>>25250631
your thesis falls apart in that Ride is poet, which is literaturary, but is sustained in that there is little like it. i suppose literary rage is often not the emotional expression of a character's emotions, but the final recognition of the unavaidable, totality of circumstances that creates their predicament.
>>
>>25250681
Right, browns just deal it which is why they are actually relevant when it comes to literature.

How are you a white man who hasn't bought meth? Meth is white heritage. Take pride in your heritage. Smoke meth
>>
>>25250688
Go back to "bone smashing" zoomer.
>>
>>25250688
Never been much for uppers, prefer whiskey.
>>
>>25250631
I just can't get into them and I was born in 82. Meh.
>>
>>25250647
Yet they're now the most talked about generation. With Kurt Cobain's name back in the press and zoomer's nonchalant attitude basically coping their vibe its only fair.
>>
>>25250688
The guy on the left looks like a childhood friend i had. He's married now with kids.
>>
>>25250730
I can't get into them either but the anger I can understand. January 1980 for me. Only thing since 94 that makes any sense to me.
>>
>>25250739
>>25250735
>>25250730
Holy fucking boomers

>>
>>25250739
June 1982 here. Wish me a happy birthday.
>>
>>25250745
Meh ill take, i only hate 90s retards they fucked everything up, 80s folks are cool grandpas
>>
>>25250751
No. You missed my birthday, why should I care about yours?
https://youtu.be/wJqMX1VeFsU
>>25250756
90s are not boomers... I get the whole everyone older than me is a boomer idea but now you are just being a retarded zoomer.
>>
What since the 90s has really exemplified anger and not just intellectualized anger? Honestly asking, Death Gripes is the only thing I have found that does.
https://youtu.be/X45Q8XKTaFY
>>
Going to keep this going until someone offers something or until the drunk wears off.
https://youtu.be/k7NsLisDwBs
>>
Come on, give me something that shows zoomers understand anger and have anger.
https://youtu.be/Gameg1EtJIA
>>
Your silence only proves that no one since gen-x has felt anger. We all know that that millennials have no concept of anger, are zoomers just as pathetic?
https://youtu.be/RWr4a52ctrA
>>
Expressing anger just gets a target painted on your back in today's society. Only a fool would let the mask slip at this stage in the game.
>>
>>25250791
When didn't it? In the 90s we made that target our identity instead of of hiding behind the company line.
https://youtu.be/nJdFpky3ero
>>
>>25250642
I have genuine hatred for you who write like this
>>
>>25250797
The consequences in the present day are far more severe than they were then and you bloody well know it. Your cohort would have acted no differently than us if they had labored under the same conditions.
>>
>>25250801
What are the consequences of being angry and expressing it these days that is different than it
was in the 90s? You have never labored, if you had you would be able to express your anger.
https://youtu.be/oQGjMGTEDJI
>>
>>25250804
Ah it's an old drunk pretends not to understand things so he can pontificate chapter. My mistake for engaging. Carry on with your drunken nostalgia trip.
>>
>>25250616
I thought it was Dosto am I wrong?
>>
>>25250809
So why can Death Grips get away with expressing anger but no one else can? You and 99% of zoomers just live in fear of consequences that will never happen.
https://youtu.be/EDgt-hw8A40
>>
>>25250815
death grips has social cachet. you know they're really doing something because they're authentic. less authentic bands aren't actually doing anything because they're not as authentic
>>
>>25250818
Right, they are authentic, unlike zoomers.
https://youtu.be/b2bzrCCKDwc
>>
Still waiting.
https://youtu.be/d2tGjI7BdG4
>>
Can't even express anger about my pointing out that you can't express anger, just try to rationalize away.
https://youtu.be/x0FRD1QQPx0
>>
Come on, give me one band since the 90s other than Death Grips that expresses anger, or just get angry at me, loose all composure and seethe, spit vitriol and soil your undies, live without fear of "image," seethe about something worth seething about for a change.
https://youtu.be/lxfSFOKCxpM
>>
Hard not to see zoomers as the impotent generation, infested with incels, can't get angry even anonymously, just explains and never lives.
