>tfw students stop showing up to your classes
>they go to Hegel's instead
>spend hundreds of pages crying about Hegel
>he ignores you
>hegel talks about mathematics and differential calculus extensively and their ramifications for philosophy
>tfw can't simplify algebraic expressions or solve for unknowns
>well math is for fools, a true genius will never understand it
>also the world is shit
>also music is the purest form of art
>alas I am too smart to learn any formal music theory so I will talk for pages and pages about music without going into that rubbish

you can prove anything with two sets of assholes, yes.

He later wrote he mistook himself for someone who was in competition with Hegel, and he didn't cry so much "cry about Hegel" as write the most hilarious satire about his contemporaries, including the public.

In old age he revised the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason to shoehorn a shitton of digressions clearly about Hegel and "literally shaking", despite his published pleading with him not to add for these revisions

He was in blatant contradiction with Hegel since both thinkers considered themselves as continuing where Kant left off

Was that on purpose?

uhhh, yes, god's not here

His sense of humor and repartee really shine in his Hegel rants.

Only inasmuch as you blindly trust what hegelians say about Hegel.

No, Hegel didn't even think about Schopenhauer

Hegel does say that "the object" is being-for-itself but that ends up being because "the subjective concept as such" is not entirely self-sufficient. to make a long story short objective being/being-for-itself escapes self-certainty because of things likes interactions or ends. which is just to say that there's always more to explore, so you cannot have the reassurance of self-certainty despite being self-certainty effectively being everything you can possibly experience.
inasmuch as Schoppy refers to pretty much everything as being a class of object, I suppose his goal is to preserve the integrity of the in-itself whereby everything must fall to one side of the coin rather than some kind of aggregate blob of coherence. but idk i haven't read that much

yet he was irrefutably right and hence lives eternally inside the hollow heads of hegelcels

He essay on women is more quoted than his actual philosophical work, which serves two purposes

One, the idea thay no matter how much better you have or had it than others, you have it just as bad, and

Two, the subjugation of humanity by capitalism must be accepted as our condition and not critically examined, no alternative can ever be

Did Hegel genuinely analyze differential equations? Might have to read him if so.

Yes he does quite a bit
