I really need a job. You see I quit my job a little over half a year ago in the hope that I would find a way to sustain my existence while having to do the bare minimum of labor. For months I messed around, wrote short stories and now I find myself low on funds. I refuse to get a regular job however. I've spent years and years working and I can not take it anymore. I would rather be homeless than go back to a regular job.I'm hoping that people who might have been in a similar position to me can give some advice on what I can do here? Are there any jobs that allow me to focus on my art and that don't grind my spirit into nothingness? Seasonal work? I'd appreciate any kind off advice. I don't need a lot of money and I would be fine living on the bare minimum as long as I get to do what I love. I live in Europe, specifically the Balkans, so if any posters from the region have any ideas I would love to hear them. The thought of going back to work a normal job makes me seriously consider suicide.

>>25251309What do you mean by that?

>>25251316I tried looking for a park ranger position but that doesn't seem to be much of a thing on the Balkans. At least as far as I can tell. Do they hire foreigners for those kinds of positions in the west?
I've seen many mention that being a night guard or something similar where your job is to keep watch of some process might work. This is hearsay however.

>>25251351I've thought about this as well. I know that Dino Buzzati used to work as one. I'll look into it although I've never seen jobs like that advertised before.>>25251352I've translated shorter texts before for free. Any advice for getting into that?
>>25251287Your 9-5 doesn't matter. It's the busywork of cooking, laundry and housekeeping that actually saps your time and makes it impossible for the modern man to create.
>>25251385Those are like an hour or two at most. You also don't have to do laundry every day, but once a week. You're a retard.
>>25251287If you're urban growing microgreens and culinary mushrooms can be a decent income because it doesn't scale well enough to be worth it for places that operate giant facilities cause those are crazy expensive near enough the city to guarantee freshness. That lets smaller players in.
I work 10 hour days, 4 days per week. Run all my errands, mow my lawn and do all my housework on Friday morning before noon, then spend the rest of my 3-day weekend doing whatever I want. EZ living.

We are miserable not because we are coping but due to the fact that we have principles; one can live virtuously and morally even without autistically having them.

You basically make $40-80K and then you also get a pension and you only work two 24 hour shifts straight in a row (sleep at fire station) and the rest of the week off. It's high risk for your body but overall it is definitively the most condensed work schedule that maximizes your overall free time.
