Annoying ass scandinavian uwu male feminist faggot tropes (not overbearing), prose, and worldview but done VERY well and very charming in its own way. It's the best newer game I've played in a while, I highly recommend it.

>>25258586Steampunk fantasy that is NOT cringe and reddit? Fucking impossible mate.
>>25258211I was annoyed at how polished this was for being just some guy's game. It's highly derivative of Disco Elysium but actually feels like its own thing thanks to the goofy setting and style. Direct Planescape Torment ripoffs as well.

>>25258812once you lean into the cringe you are free
>>25258819It's derivative in general, there's several dialogue sequences that are ripped out of general nerd media (already forgot which) and a reference to "pocket sand" from the office. Normally I'd hate this sort of thing but I'm really enjoying it, I think it's derivative in a very genuine, unpretentious, and honest way that works well with the whole "this is just a d&d campaign" conceit.
