>men are so stupid lol>sex sex sex >mindless superficiality>complaining about men>neurosis

Who's the greater neurotic, the neurotic or the neurotic who posts about the neurotic's neuroticism on /lit/?
>>25257999I am.
>>25257995>oh no i made a terrible mistake help me feminism
>>25258007whoopsie doodles!https://www.bitchute.com/video/whPSRYp6Zaa3
Its breathtaking in a way, 'Carrie' obviously hates herself but can't stop gossiping and partying. Many such cases.
>>25258026Jay really nailed it, thank you tami janowitz
There are some deep nsights
>>25258133Dont make this thread about the show i dont watch /tv/ slop. Anyway 'carrie' is even more insufferable in the show because its a soap opera and the characters cant resolve anything. The ending/aspen sequence of the book is actually good in that carries neurosis finally drives her crazy lol
>>25258015Stop posting Xavier all over the site, I feel like a sleeper being given his activation phrase>>25258133This is the show my dad's new wife is so obsessed with? Maybe I see what happened there now.
>>25258015damn you clumso
>>25258133It's just penis in vagina. They make such a big deal out of this bs. As if penetrating their holes is what life is about.
>>25258133>good at lifeIs it me or is this a retarded and childish phrase?
Stylistically this was slog, the tedious women gossip endless ego attacks and feminist hen pecking on the quircks of NYC bachelors for like 75% of the book is rage enducing, however, it gradaully becomes a novel and was decent in that regard.
>>25258236They never specify what "success" means but boy oh boy do they want it. Its part of the whole emotional neurosis, women can't articulate why they are satisfied (would mean the end of their suffering and thus perpetual martyrdom)
>>25258236It means wealth and status
>>25257995Haven't read the book but I was surprised by how regressive the show's sexual politics were. Carrie and her friends are deeply invested in "traditional" gender roles, at least when it comes to dating. They are frequently repulsed or confused by relatively tame sex acts, even the slutty one. And of course there's the ever-present "men are from Mars" battle of the sexes shit. They're like proto-chuddettes, and the overall moral of Sex and the City's original run is that women are happiest when they're raising kids. A lot of you guys would probably like it if you could get over being triggered by women talking about sex
>>25258007The reason why I don't want children is because the only reasons that I can think of are all about me. I'd get to be a father. I wouldn't be alone when I'm gonna die. But no reason is about the child itself. I also came to conclusion that I don't want to adopt a child. Why? Probably because I want to "continue the bloodline", which is again a self centered reason. It's the same with this woman. She wish she shad children so they could fix her loneliness.
>>25258802My sister liked it. I never got the point, I was sexually unsuccessful mostly as a teenager and twentysomething. Its not like I never had girlfriends but I also thought gossip was retarded.
>>25258802> They're like proto-chuddettesEvery article written from the POV of the fans of the show is the exact opposite including this one: >>25258007Now I haven’t read the book or watched the show but I have listened to more flapping fishflaps talking about the show than I care to and not once did they say anything to suggest what you claim is true. Therefore, I call you out as a liar and a cheat.
>>25258802In the book the sexual politics are incredibly regressive, because as Candace Bushnell has personally stated she basically wanted to write jane austen novels.>marry rich man and travel around>have kids>get divorcedThat's about it. There's this constant tension with their busy-body NYC lifestyles im the book however that 'carrie' experiences because they feel conflicted about being modern women yet ultimately so shallow (carrie anyway). Men arent really human beings so much as vehicles for their materialistic desires.
>>25259439I watched as much of it as I could stomach, which was quite a lot. If you're anywhere near as sexist as you like to put on, then it should come as no surprise that women are misunderstanding something. Even in general, a lot of people love media while completely misunderstanding it
>>25258007Glad someone posted this. These idiots are sacrifices for the propaganda machine. Hopen the money was worth ruining generations of women
>>25258802>overall moralOh shut the fuck up with your bullshit. The entire show was about being a strong independent woman and having as many men to sleep with as possible.
