> Been studying basque since I was 3>every subject at school in that langue>Grammar always felt disgustingly hard>Stopped at 16 because speaking in that magic spell shit fluently felt impossible>At 23 after finishing uni i get on with it again>most books are garbage, zaborra indeed>no one actually uses this language>im i a fucking retard?
>>25263388>am I a fucking retard?well, you are OP...
You fell for the grammar meme. The ONLY way to learn a language properly is comprehensibleinputmaxxing, and for meme languages like Basque that requires living amongst Basque speakers.
>>25263436>comprehensibleinputmaxxingwhat means this?
>>25263388>>im i a fucking retard? No you were just being forced to learn a meme language that you do not use anywhere in your life for political reasons. There's no book that can teach you a language you don't use.
>>25263388I don't think it's a waste. Being a pre-Indo-European language isolate, it's a living relic. Keeping it alive is cool, and there's not a lot of incentive for native speakers to when you're bordered by two huge international languages like Spanish and French that you almost certainly have to learn to get by. There's not really a practical use for it for them, so there definitely won't be for you, but it's still cool.>>25263439Speaking and hearing it every day, generally by living in country.
Online 1337-speak is a meme language. Basque is NOT. Stop applying your zoomer shit where it doesn't belong.
>>25263436>every subject at school in that langue>bro you need comprehensible inputApparently not since your English reading comprehension is awful
>>25263436I did not fall for the grammar meme, but finishing a sentence is hard when talking about any topic because the verb system is crazy. l was in full immersion 6h a day for 13+ years, btw. If any of you anglo-fags have read anything good in this language please tell me. God i love castellano.
