I’ve been posting about picrel a few weeks ago and I have to say this book is amazing. It sits at the intersection of anthropology, ethics, psychology and theology. It presents a wide and deep knowledge of all these fields, even the contemporary discussions of the time (early 1930s). It does justice to the social sciences while remaining firmly Christian, but it also criticises the traditionalist Christian philosophy which fails to produce and defend a coherent anthropology from which an ethics can be built. So I advise you to read this underrated gem and enjoy it.
