Finished Michael K and Disgrace back to back. This forum is seriously sleeping on Coetzee. Never saw any discussion about him here. Why?
>>
Disgrace I thought was alright, initially sort of a Lolita type novel I found quite entertaining, then with a major shift in the middle. Towards the end of the book I was waiting for some kind of climax to tie the book together but it just never came, left me hanging a little.

Probably because you’re a newfag
>>
Has this guy written anything relatively original? All of his books seem like fanfictions of other writers.

Opposed apartheid.
Not saying thats the morally wrong decision, but it is definitely the low IQ decision which reflects poorly on his writings.

He's a faggot (figuratively), and I strongly dislike books written by those types.

never read K, assume it's worth it? I was indifferent towards Waiting For The Barbarians, but Disgrace is entrancing. Read it three times. I want to read Elizabeth Costello and Childhood-Boyhood-Youth soon
>Never saw any discussion about him here. Why?
He's too recent/contemporary, and most anons don't read anything contemporary aside from a few memed writers and /lit/ darlings

doesn't have dick jokes like pynchon
