The whole fucking thing is a series of pre-recorded mental rape scenarios against the reader set up by an author who accurately self-describes as ‘the most reprehensible character in all fiction’. And I actually don't mean that in any way fucking kindly. I mean, when this guy spends four books showing every which way a drug-fueled serial sex criminal homosexual pedophile with no limits can drug and rape everyone and get away with it, and that’s he’s done it before and is doing it now and he’s going to do it again? He means all he does is rape and this is one of them. And what makes it such a good simulation, is it took me until the last book to realize I was being raped. That means I had already read about 18 heavy chapters of explicit and vomit-inducing child gang rape, and weathering through it, because I was simply *confused by what was happening and i wanted to figure it out*. The initial draw? What kept me? *This creepy old man seems like he’s from beyond, what does he mean??? Maybe removing my boundaries and at least sitting here for this disgusting ‘demonstration’ might answer something as the guy takes his dick out and offers me a needle*. Months later I’m sitting here reading with a sore ass, and the old dead queer is struggling to explain to me in some mythical language something like ‘a conception of truth that truly frightens me exists in my mind, and only my mind is real, therefore the guilt I live with for the truly evil poison I am, is real in the only reality I exist in’. I’m like, ‘Bitch I know what God is! You acted like He didn’t exist while you were raping me!’ and the prick has already always been gone. i really like the cutup books, but I can seldom convince anyone to try them out. Finally got a friend of mine to read them a few years back and he responded like OP. totally broke his brain and he spiraled a lot. i think he’s probably forgotten about the cutups mostly by now, but he seems to be in a pretty bad way. we dont really talk anymore.

Which is all actually really fucking important information, I keep saying rape because that's kind of how the book is written. And if you read every line that considered, it works out pretty clearly

There is basically a ‘literal’ reading that is probably the worst thing to take to heart, but if you really take in what it means for the heat to close in, who’s talking when they tell you where you belong, what you don’t trust about authority and how that means you’re asking for the REAL authority (are you prepared?), the use and abuse of authority language tools, what the green piss deal is and why its fucking awful to take, etc etc
