I'm too stupid to keep track of all the names and the shifting power balances. Are there any good books that condescend to a stupid reader like me so that I can have a chance at comprehending the wars of the roses? Thanks.

Write them down on paper, as or after you read, and then refer back to them before your next reading or whenever else needed. I have a truly terrible memory (bordering on retardation, it's embarrassing) and even I can do this.
>>25269337>Where to start with the Wars of Roses With the Hundred Years War obviously as that was the initial cause. Read the Sumption books. Actually start with the very first Plantagenets and work your way down: Henry II and the creation of the Angevin Empire, Richard Cœur de Lion, how everything went to shit afterwards, Simon de Montforts chimpouts, then about the two ultrachad Edwards and the other Edward inbetween who we try to forget, the Scottish Wars of Independence, all the glory and drama of the 100YW, and finally finish it with the Wars of the Roses.
