I often say for various things that I recognise one thing as my favourite and another as the best in the same category. The KJV is my favourite Bible translation for its literary style and eloquent prose, but it has theological errors such as the deliberate mistranslation of the Greek in 1 Corinthians 11:27 to dogmatise Communion in both kinds. The best translation (in English), however, I recognise as the Douay-Rheims Bible because it is a faithful translation of the only Bible supported by an infallible Ecumenical Council, the Council of Trent, which is the Latin Vulgate but the use of ‘you’ interchangeably with ‘ye’ - analogous to ‘will’ and ‘shall’ in Modern English - is something not to my preference.

As long as you're aware of it, who cares? KJV is at certain points immeasurably superior to the Douay-Rheims as a work of literature.
