not sure, but to have any relevance today it should be primarily about how all humanties departments are getting squeezed or shut down in favour of stem, how the humanities researchers who remain are forced into ultracompetitive publish-or-die careerism, and how ai is increasingly going to infiltrate and commodify every aspect of the transmission of culture and knowledge
