What periodicals and magazines do you read? For me, it's the Quadrant The Unz Review. Unironically.
I read my two local newspapers a week, plus some writing review journals published in my state. Occasionally read bigger national newspapers, but I don't read NYTimes because it's so insanely pro-Zionist and pro-Jewish that it's basically unreadable. It infects every aspect of the writing, even with unrelated topics.

Add The Atlantic and The New Yorker for long reads, and you're all set. I used to read Foreign Affairs, The Atlantic, Harper's, and The Economist. Most of them are pretty shit and have been for years now though. Periodicals are obsolete now that social media and news aggregates exist.
