Recommend some good audiobook narrations. I just started a monotonous job with 10-hr shifts and I need something other than podcast mindrot to occupy my mind during the week. Fiction or non-fiction, Great Courses lectures, etc.
I liked the Wagner great courses if your into classical. He had an interesting life.
>>25279662The part where he relentlessly bullies Nietzsche to the point of tears is my favorite
>>25279651the audiobook of bruce springsteen's autobiography, read by bruce himself, is awesomebut keith richards' autobiography, read by johnny depp, is on another level

Some of the best i have come across was lord of the rings rob ingles and hsrry potter. Never heard the andy serkis version
Damn, audiobook enjoyers have terrible taste
>>25279699I'd rather hammer sharp nails under my own nails that be subjected to hearing anything about Bruce Springsteen.
Audible's War and Peace and Anna Karenina
That's really all you fuckers got? Springsteen and Harry Potter?
Catch-22 and UBIK have exceptional narrations. Dune done by George Guidall is also excellent. Investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen also narrates her own books and she does an impressively good job. You're welcome.

>>25279651If you have a library card then try Kanopy. It has many Great Course lectures that span dozens of hours, especially the comprehensive historical ones.
Kostova's the Historian is pretty good, as are Ciaphus Cain novels by Sandy Mitchell or Gotrekk and Felix novels. If you're a warhammer man.
