I was born in 2001 in the south. One thing that always struck me about America was how utterly obsessed with its black population it is. Both for and against them. The country absolutely refuses to move on. They love thinking about them. I grew up with black faces staring down at me from all the advertisements. Constantly being forced to hear how hard they have it. Black exclusive opportunities and black heritage celebrating monuments.I wish I could leave. America has never felt like home to me.
