Spent about two months of on and off reading and felt while the first three books were fairly good, it was a waste of time overall. Knowing there will never be an ending of sorts, even a shitty one, tarnishes everything. It'd be nice if he could release at least 'something' before he goes but I don't think he has it in him, rumours of a new book have been floating around for years but who really knows?Also, the theory about there originally being an Arya/Jon incest arc to compliment their Jamie/Cersi rivals throughout the books sounded pretty kino and if he did back out of it due to publisher pressure then he's a real coward.
