But that was just a random coincidence rather than a return of the novelist to the foreground of culture.

I enjoyed Drive Your Plow well enough, but it doesn't really hold up to any scrutiny. At least it's something different.I thought "what a good job she did inventing this character" and then learned about the author and realized the narrator was literally just her and it became a lot less impressive.
