Authors/books that address the pain that comes from being a wagecuck?

It's possible to make 9 USD an hour in the USA?

>Georgia and Wyoming have the lowest minimum wage at $7.25 per hour, which is the same as the federal minimum wage.

Surely Bukowski’s Post Office deserves a mention.

the obvious answer

We have no real minimum wage in the states, the nominal minimum is below survivability. Effectively the “minimum” right now is about 15/hr.

I recently started a job with a four day workweek. Pays twenty-something an hour and they literally told me to bring headphones so I could listen to podcasts or audiobooks while I work. It's been great.

Have the same situation at my factory job. When I used to work on the production line it would slow down enough sometimes for me to sit down and actually read a book. Now I work in a the quality department and there's always more parts to inspect. But getting paid better than anyone I know just to listen to my faggy radio shows all day is great. I only wish I had more time to write.

If Das Kapital seems too daunting, one can go for the simpler alternative

I'm trying to escape it myself. I am getting certified in both Holistic and Sports massage and trying to work at my local climbing gym while also getting my band up and running and doing mostly events. If I can get those things set up and stable I can go self-employment mode while doing a part-time master's in Speech-language Therapy and be flexible about it due to the self employment. Hopefully this 5 year plan will help me ascend into having 3 flexible self-employed jobs I can juggle at will.

im trying, anon

Thank you so much anon, I'm glad you think so. Sometimes I wonder if it's a retarded plan. Massage can give you about 50 per session and you can get around 150 per gig, so even if I only do like, 3 massages a week and 2 gigs a week, that's still around 450 a week, minus, say, 100 for tax and expenditures. In the UK 1400 is definitely definitely liveable and perfect while doing a Master's degree.

It's called labor alienation. Look it up

"All official and liberal science defends wage-slavery, whereas Marxism has declared relentless war on that slavery."

-Lenin

Bartleby, the Scrivener

Žižek and his left pose became pro alienation as soon as companies started to share too much and became more democratized. I'm not joking, like Marx was right about a lot of things but you need alienation from your duty to be fresh on your off days.
