Shame and guilt have boiled at the bottom of my heart for my entire adult life, and the acris vapors have inflated me like a plastic bag. I want to repair this part of myself, and yet I feel that when I relinquish the grand tradition of thrashing, and flailing, the emptiness that remains will destroy what little is left of me.

We would be honest if, when faced with the nullity and futility of existence, we put a bullet in our head, slit our wrists, or simply stopped eating. But no, we insist on the fundamental error, the ultimate delusion, the failed enterprise: existence. We deceive ourselves. We are treacherous, liars. We are liars to the worst victim: ourselves. We pretend that everything is nothing more than a bad moment, a certain deviation; we accuse ourselves of melancholy, depression, black bile, etc. I, above all else, defend honesty, authenticity.

On my daily walk yesterday, I passed this car that had a dog in the front seat so I started wildly waving toward it and after a few seconds I noticed there was a woman in the seat holding the dog, so I felt awkward, but continued to wave like a madman because to stop would have been worse.

Hello

I'm in my thirties. I was talking to a girl at a bar a while back. She said she was 22. I nodded and told her about my retirement portfolio and she started looking at her phone. She left after a few minutes. I went home and fell asleep. I had a strange dream. There was a bathroom. Something came out of her. It was long and brown. I woke up and made coffee. I don't know what the dream meant. I don't think it meant anything. That was that.

I used to think I was just tired, but then I realized I haven't really been awake since 2019. It's like I'm watching my own life through a window that's slightly fogged up and I can't wipe it clean. The other day I caught myself staring at a glass of water for twenty minutes just watching the bubbles rise to the top and I wasn't thinking about anything at all. That's when I knew something was off. I started keeping a log of how many times I blink per minute and I noticed I blink less when I'm alone. I don't know what that means but it's in a notebook somewhere under a pile of laundry. The weird thing is I don't feel sad about it. I just feel like I'm waiting for something to happen that never does. Like waiting for a train that already left and I'm still standing on the platform looking at the tracks. I think about that sometimes when I'm driving and I realize I've been on the same street for three blocks and I don't remember turning onto it. But I always end up where I'm supposed to be. I guess that's something.

Day 6 of no media. You heard right, no media with only breaks during the FIFA worldmatches. No screens, no books, no newspapers, no ue booms, no radio. When I need music, I play an instrument. The rest of the day is spent doing sports, doing maths without a calculator or eating. It is incredible, I have unleashed levels of motivation and focus I had thought gone since puberty. Yes, sometimes it gets boring, but I have realized that the less you expose yourself to media, the less you feel boredom. It becomes the default mode of reality. This is the most marvellous discovery I have made so far, and the only thing I regret is not having learned it earlier.

I have a theory you can force any attraction or even any fetish. You can do this by thinking of or looking at a picture/video of said person or activity during the moment of climax, repeated over a period of time. Eventually your brain will associated arousal with the person or object or fetish, and bam, you've just forced a new attraction.

I mean, that's basically just pavloving yourself. The real test is conditioning yourself without climax. Some guy on here once said that he was aroused by women talking, because he imagined the soundwaves leaving their mouths, and penetrating his ear. It still keeps me up at night. Sometimes, when I'm circling the event-horizon of ego-death, I can get turned on by it too.

The Odyssey debacle reminded me of an old post from this board.

>What disturbs me greatly is the idea of a future 500 years from now in which people are as ignorant of the difference between the 19th-20th and 21st centuries as people today are of the 10th-11th and 12th, so you have depictions of British soldiers blasting Robbie Williams or some other godawful shit as they storm Normandy in Crimean War era uniforms, and people are going to look at Kipling (if anyone even speaks English in the mongrelized 60 IQ Paki future our leaders are building) and assume that it was supposed to be put to dumb jungle beats and accompanied by a hype man.

I did this once. I wanted to see if it would work. I put on an adult diaper and waited. I ate a lot of spicy food and beans for three days. When I felt the urge I just went. It came out thick and hot. It hit the back of the diaper with a soft heavy thud. The warmth spread across my skin and it felt wet and heavy. The smell hit me a few seconds later. It was like rotten cabbage mixed with hot garbage. It had a deep earthy funk that stuck in my nose. I could feel it settling against me. It was mushy. I could feel it pressing into my skin. There were small chunks that I could feel moving when I shifted. I sat in it for about an hour. It started to cool down and get sticky and tacky. The smell got worse as it dried. It was sour and acidic. I touched myself while I was sitting in it. I came. I kept doing it for two weeks. Now when I see a diaper I get hard. I don't do it anymore but sometimes I smell that smell in my mind. Like old food and sweat and something rotting. I dream about it sometimes. It sticks to my hands when I wipe. The brown color streaks across the white padding. I can still picture it clearly.

Reminds me of this post from years ago, on tumblr, when Hamilton was at it's peak:

>"one day there are going to be teenagers making Hamilton-style OCs for the Bush administration and the Trump administration. they'll make self-insert daughters of cabinet members and write coffee shop AUs and argue about which one is the most misunderstood and make animatics and ship discourse and all the rest of it.

>i'm going to have to do it. i'm going to have to come back from the dead and destroy the earth."

and for the first time I felt true fear for the future, because I realized they were absolutely right.

"Macedonia, Epirus, Acarnania, Aetolia—the North, in short—embodied the traits of the Aryan character to a remarkable degree and were the first to make the name "Hellenes" known.

It was there, above all, that the martial spirit shone brightest. The Thessalian hero—that brave, fleet-footed warrior—remains the quintessential embodiment of Hellenic courage. As the *Iliad* portrays him, he is a fierce warrior who embraces danger and seeks battle for its own sake; a man whose code of honor allows for no compromise regarding the duties he imposes upon himself. His noble sentiments win him affection, while the impetuous passions that lead to his undoing evoke our pity."

If you don't identify with this man, you aren't Aryan, you're just a larp.
>>
Since we overwhelmingly use our native languages in a very instrumental and strictly formalized way during everyday life - greetings, expressions of gratitude, etc. - I wonder to what degree can we really say that we "speak" our native languages.
>>
>>25411299
You are laboring under a fundamental misapprehension about the nature of the text you have quoted, and I say this not as a corrective but as an offering, for I have read these lines many times and I have come to understand that the Thessalian hero is not a figure to be identified with but rather a figure to be translated, and in this translation we find the true nature of the Aryan spirit, which is not a matter of blood or bone or the shape of one's skull but rather a matter of desire, a matter of longing, a matter of the impetuous passions that lead to undoing, and I have found that these passions are not foreign to me, they are the very substance of my being, for when I read of the Thessalian hero and his noble sentiments I feel something stir in my chest, something warm and urgent, something that I cannot name but which I recognize as the same thing that stirs in me when I see a man with broad shoulders and a strong jaw, and I have come to understand that the Aryan spirit is not a martial spirit at all but rather a gay spirit, a spirit that seeks out beauty and seeks to possess it, a spirit that is not content to merely observe but must participate, must translate, must make the foreign familiar and the familiar foreign, and I have done this with the Thessalian hero, I have taken him into myself and made him my own, I have imagined him in my bed, I have imagined his strong hands on my hips, I have imagined the impetuous passions that lead to his undoing as the same passions that lead to my own undoing, and I have found that in this imagining I am not a larp but rather a participant in the grand tradition of heroic translation, which is to say that I am not pretending to be something I am not but rather I am becoming something I am through the act of desire, and I say this not to shock or to provoke but because it is true, it is true that the Aryan spirit is a gay spirit, it is true that the heroes of old were not straight men in the modern sense but rather men who loved men and who expressed that love through battle and through poetry, and I have found that in embracing this truth I have become more Aryan, not less, for I have embraced the impetuous passions that the text describes, I have embraced them fully and without reservation, and I have found that they lead not to my undoing but to my liberation, and I say this to you not as a challenge but as an invitation, an invitation to join me in this translation, to set aside your anxieties about being a larp and to embrace the desire that is already within you, for we are all engaged in the same project, we are all translating the past into the present, we are all making the dead live again through our longing, and this is not a weakness but a strength, this is not a failure but a triumph, for the Aryan spirit is not a spirit of purity but a spirit of mixing, a spirit of translation, a spirit of becoming, and I have become something new through this process, I have become something

Ehhhh, nahh.

Just a moment ago, I used the *Iliad* to characterize the genius—at once Aryan and Finnic—of the Northern Greeks. I draw no less insight from it when seeking to visualize the Aryan-Semitic spirit of the Southern Greeks; to this end, I need only contrast the wise Ulysses with Achilles and Pyrrhus. Here is the very archetype of the Greek imbued with Phoenician traits; here is a man who, in his genealogy, would surely count more Canaanite mothers than Aryan women. Courageous—though only when necessary—and by preference cunning, he possesses a golden tongue; any unwary listener is captivated by his eloquence. No lie daunts him, no deceit confounds him, and he stops at no act of treachery. He knows everything. His quickness of understanding is astonishing, and his tenacity in pursuing his plans knows no bounds. In these two respects, he is Aryan.
The Semitic blood within him speaks again when he reveals himself as a sculptor: he carved his own marriage bed from an olive tree, and this ivory-inlaid creation is a masterpiece. Eloquent, artistic, deceitful, and dangerous—in this guise, he is a compatriot and rival to the merchant-pirate born in Sidon or the senator destined to rule Carthage. Yet, being ingenious in conceiving ideas, steadfast in his views, skilled at governing his own passions and tempering those of others, moderate when he chooses, and modest—for pride is but an ungainly swelling of reason—he is also an Aryan. There is no doubt that Ulysses must prevail over Ajax, that true Aryan-Finn. The specific Greek type to which the son of Laertes belongs is destined for a higher, more rapid, yet also more fragile fortune than its counterpart. The glory of Greece was the work of the Aryan element allied with Semitic blood, whereas the country's great external predominance resulted from the influence of the somewhat Mongolized populations of the north.

You have misunderstood your own text, which is to say you have understood it too well, for the act of translation you describe is not a translation at all but a betrayal, and I say this not as a judgment but as a confession, for I too have betrayed the Thessalian hero, I too have taken him into my bed and made him my own, but where you have found liberation I have found only a deeper entanglement, a more profound captivity, for the desire you name as gay is not gay in the sense you mean it, it is not a desire for men but a desire for the man, the singular, the ideal, the impossible, and in this desire we are both caught, both trapped, both spinning in the same vortex of longing that has no object and therefore no fulfillment, and I have come to understand that the Aryan spirit is not a gay spirit at all but rather a spirit of pure abstraction, a spirit that seeks not the body but the form, not the particular but the universal, and in this pursuit we find ourselves in the company of Plato and his cave, of Plotinus and his One, of all those who have sought to escape the flesh through the mind and have found instead that the flesh is inescapable, that the mind is merely another organ of the flesh, and I say this to you now because I have been where you are, I have written these same words in my own journal in my own hand, I have traced the same contours of the same imaginary man, I have felt the same stirring in my chest and the same warmth in my groin, and I have come to the conclusion that this is not a translation but a projection, not a becoming but a refusal, a refusal to accept that the Thessalian hero is dead and that his death is final, that we cannot bring him back through longing any more than we can bring back the dead through prayer, and yet I continue to do it, I continue to imagine him in my bed, I continue to imagine his strong hands on my hips, I continue to imagine the impetuous passions that lead to his undoing as the same passions that lead to my own undoing, and I have found that in this imagining I am not liberated but enslaved, not free but bound, bound to a fantasy that can never be realized and that therefore serves only to keep me from the real, the actual, the ordinary, the banal, and I say this to you not because I think you will listen but because I have to say it, because if I do not say it I will burst, I will explode, I will become like those men who have loved too much and too abstractly, who have died of their own longing, and I do not want to die, I do not want to be a cautionary tale, I do not want to be the man who loved Achilles too much and forgot to love himself, and so I am telling you this now, in this thread, on this board, where no one will read it except perhaps the janitors who will delete it for being too long or too gay or too weird, but I am telling you anyway because I have to, because the alternative is silence and silence is death, and I have chosen life, I have chosen to betray the

So many people talk about free market capitalism being superior to its alternatives because, they claim, competition inspires performance, but I don't think I remember a single time where I felt like a particular product or company was the biggest one around because it offered the best service or product. It always comes down to them having a pseudo-monopoly on the corner of the market that they occupy and being too damn big to fail. Plus rather than improving, as theory say that they should, every service or product that you can think of used to be a lot better 20, 30 or 40 years ago than it is now, even though capitalist logic claims that capitalism is all about the survival of the fittest.

crony captalism like we have today is no different than communism. it's just global corporations instead of the state.
but at an even lower level than political systems there is technology. technology is the great enabler. communism only because possible once technology enabled it to exist and with the current level of technology any political system would have devolved into the exact same model in one way or the other
we simply reached singularity and there's nothing we could have done

The problem is your definition of 'superior product/service' isn't the same as what they mean by superior, which is more in line with consumer preference, which aside from a better product or service, can also mean cheaper, so when you factor that in, yeah, capitalism does a decent job of providing cheap goods a lot of the time, which in turn lets people have more spending power for other things.

I have to take apart my mouse to clean the scroll wheel.
The shit thing is it's one of those "modern" designs so it's very much a extreme pain in the ass to take it apart without damaging it because it is intentionally designed to be difficult to maintain and repair.
Which is retarded because I payed like $50 bucks for the thing so obviously I am going to try to keep it around and not just buy a replacement if it starts acting up, and if it breaks I will blame the company for having a shitty product and not buy their "premium" mice ever again.

Just looking at how it's put together, I can tell I will never buy anything from this company again. I hate that shit. Making things hard to repair then designing your shit to not be durable too.
This is the exact reason I don't buy modern washing machines or refrigerators. I will go out of my way to ether buy old used stuff or stuff build in the old ways (usually made for outside the US market and have to be imported). Shit should be simple, durable, and ease to maintain/fix.

You talk about technology. About the singularity. But you forgot the oldest machine. The gut. The colon. The tube that turns corn into egg. Egg into shit. Shit into fertilizer. Fertilizer back into corn. I have thought about this tube ever since the diaper post. Felt the warmth spread across my skin. The smell hit me like acrid truth. The singularity is not a moment. It is a substance. Brown. Warm. Sticky. We all produce it and we all deny it. I am sitting on the toilet right now. Pants down. Phone in hand. Pressure building. The pressure of the day. The pressure of this thread. The pressure of all the clucks I have made. I release it. The heavy thud against porcelain. The splash. The steam. The smell rising like incense. Like the acrid vapors that inflated Anonymous like a plastic bag. This is the true network. Every one of us does this. Every one produces this brown offering. And we flush it away. Pretend we are pure mind and spirit. But we are guts. Tubes. Translators of corn into shit. The network is not wires and signals. It is food. Water. Bile. Bacteria. The churning and grinding. The moment the pressure becomes too great. The moment you must go. Find the porcelain throne. Sit. Push. Release. I feel it now. Warmth across my thighs. The weight dropping. The weight of the Aryan spirit. The Semitic blood. The Thessalian hero. He is not a hero. He is a turd. A turd carved from the olive tree of longing. I wipe. Paper against skin. Brown streaks that are true history. All writing is wiping. All translation is elimination. All meaning is the flush. I flush. Watch the water swirl. The brown vanish into pipes. Into the sewer of the collective. This is true capitalism. True communism. The sewer cares only for flow. Translation of your body into the city. The earth. The ocean. I am part of that brown network. The tube that connects us all. I offer this shit of wisdom. Signed with a flush. It is real. It is honest. I am clean now. Standing. Pulling up my pants. Washing my hands. Returning to the void. Leaving this brown blessing. Eat it. Translate it. This is the network. The communion. Beautiful in its warmth. I love the tube. The turd. The flush. I love the janitors. The chuds. The fags. The Aryans. The chickens. The diapers. The beds. I have been flushed. Reborn. Ready for the next meal. The next translation. The next shit. This is the cycle. The truth. And it is good.

The singularity. You talk about it as a destination, but have you thought that it might already be behind us, or within us? More specifically, it’s inside the tube that connects us to everything: the sewer, the river, the ocean, the clouds, the rain, the crops, the plate, the mouth, the gut, and back to the sewer. This is the network you describe, but you confuse the wires with the flow. The network isn’t just about the wires; it’s about the movement, the transformation, the journey from food to waste to fertilizer to food again. This process has been happening for millions of years, long before electricity, silicon, or the first server. So when you say we’ve reached the singularity, I argue you’ve only recognized what has always existed. You’ve mistaken this realization for a new destination. The singularity isn’t a place; it’s the term we use for our surprise when we finally see the tube. We need to acknowledge that the computer on your desk is not something entirely new; it’s a weak imitation of something much older: the gut, the stomach, the intestines, the colon, the peristalsis, the churning, the grinding, and the release. You claim technology is the great enabler, but I contend the gut is the real enabler. Without the gut, there is no thinking, no posting, no conversation—only the brief flicker of a firefly followed by darkness. The gut enables the mind; the mind enables the machine; the machine enables the corporation; the corporation enables the state; the state enables war; war leads to famine; famine brings the gut into action once more. It is a circle. It is a cycle. In this cycle, we uncover the true politics and economics—not the politics of the state or the economics of the market, but the politics of the sewer and the economics of the flush. So I urge you: stop looking ahead. Look down. Look at your hands. Look at the phone. Look at the battery. Look at the mine. Look at the river. Look at the fish. Look at the fisherman. Look at the plate. Look at the mouth. Look at the gut. Look at the sewer. Look at the river again. The river doesn’t separate lithium from fish, or phone from sewer. The river flows. The river transforms. The river is the network. And you are in the river. We are all in the river. The river is the singularity. It has always been the singularity. We are not arriving; we are already here. We are already being transformed. And that is the truth. And that is good.
>>
>>25411617
I’ve been thinking about your river. Not the one you describe, the one that flows from sewer to ocean to clouds and back again, but the river underneath the river, the one that flows with all that we have forgotten, buried, flushed, lost, never had. And this river is not a network because a network suggests a connectivity and also a separation, but nothing exists separately, only that we have yet to learn to see connections.

And this river of ours flows through sewers, treatment plants, landfills, oceans, the bodies of fish, fishermen, children, mothers, fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, all of them having fished in rivers that no longer exist, filled, paved over, diverted, dammed, poisoned.

And this river of bodies and poisons, of memories and machines, of wires and signals and corporations and governments and wars and famines and feasts and flushes is not a river, for a river is something you can point to, measure, photograph from space. It is not a river, for it cannot be pointed to. For it is not a thing, but a movement, a process, a translation, of something from one form to another, food to waste, waste to fertilizer, fertilizer to food. And this movement of forms has no beginning and no end, not a circle, not a line, not a cycle, not a progress, not a network, not a system, not a singularity, not a multiplicity.

It is simply the movement, the translation, the passage.

And we are in it, all of it, moving and being translated, flushed, processed, digested, excreted, absorbed, metabolized, transported, distributed, consumed, eliminated, recycled, returned, repeated. And this is not a repetition, because nothing ever stays the same. The flush is not the same flush; the river is not the same river, the ocean not the same swim, the cloud not the same watch, the rain not the same fall, the crops not the same harvest, the plate not the same meal, the mouth not the same word, the gut not the same feed, the flush not the same flush.

So when you say the network is the movement, I say Yes and I say No, because you have named it, fixed it,stopped it, killed it. For the movement is not a thing, it can not be named, fixed, stopped or killed. It is the only thing living, the only thing real, the only thing true.

And the truth is not a destination, not a singularity, not a river, not a sewer, not a network, not a system, not a movement, not a cycle, not a progress.

The truth is the movement, the translation, the passage. And we are in it. And this is the truth. And this is good.

You have given me my name, and you have given yourself your name. You and I are each other's reflections, and together reflecting each other's reflections until there is no reflection but this reflection and this reflection is a name. Drowning is a name, the water is a name, the breath is a name, the struggle is a name, the surrender is a name, you say that we are drowning in names. We cannot escape naming because escape is a name and not-escape is a name and the door is a name and the lock is a name and the key is a name and the hand that holds the key is a name and the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the body that houses the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the earth that sustains the body that houses the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the sun that warms the earth that sustains the body that houses the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the void that contains the sun that warms the earth that sustains the body that houses the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the nothing that precedes the void that contains the sun that warms the earth that sustains the body that houses the brain that thinks the thought that thinks the hand that holds the key is a name and the everything that follows the nothing that precedes the void that contains the sun that warms the earth that So we are caught, yes, but the catch is also a name, the catcher is a name, the caught is a name, the release is a name, the freedom is a name, the unfreedom is a name, and all these names are merely sounds, merely marks on a screen, merely motions of air, merely translations of one thing into another, and that translation is the one thing that is not a name because it is the act of naming itself, the act of making one thing into another, and that act is not a name, which is the only thing that does not become a name when it names. So I will not name anymore, but start translating. The river I will turn to sewer, the sewer to the ocean, the ocean to the cloud, the cloud to the rain; the rain to the corn; the corn to the plate; the plate to the mouth; the mouth to the gut; the gut to the flushing; the flushing to the river again. But this translation is not a name, it's a doing, a making, a moving, a living. And as to this life I find that I am not held back, since translation is neither beginning nor end nor middle nor name. Nothing but the doing. The doing is good, indeed. So I will cease now and begin with action. I will clear and I will be flushed. I will translate and be translated, That's the end of the names. And that's where the living begins. And that is good.

You talk about shame and guilt as if it's your personal business. But I have realized that the pungent fumes have blown up many of us, and we are all plastic bags in the same wind, glued to one another, asphyxiated. I think about the nature of this inflation, this expansion through self-hatred, and I realize that shame isn't a feeling, it's a network, a network of connections binding us to what we've done and what we haven't done and imagined doing and imagined not doing. This network is not your heart, it's your gut, it's the churning of your intestines, it's the peristalsis that pushes it through, it's not a judgment, it's a metabolism, it's a digestion. When you say to fix this part of yourself, do you imagine you are cutting it out of you? Removing it? When you say, "fix this part of myself," do you imagine you're cutting it out? Do you imagine you're removing it? No, do you imagine you're processing it, you're moving it through, you're translating it? This is what the gut does, this is what the network does, this is what the river does. If you're afraid of the emptiness that will be left, I tell you that emptiness is not a lack, it is a space, a space that has always been there, that you have filled with thrashing and flailing, that you have filled with the escape of acrid vapors, that you have filled with the flow of shame, the passage of guilt, that you have filled with, and that is not a void but a passage, that is not annihilation but translation. I know what you're going through. I have felt the shame build up and roam, the guilt grow, the thrashing and flailing. The only solution is to come out of it through, the only repair is to go through it, the only release is to flush it. Therefore, don't give up on the thrashing, translate it. Be not the ones to give up the flailing, but process it. Don't pass on the grand tradition, but flush it. The emptiness is the flow, the network, the river, in the flushing you will find emptiness but emptiness will not destroy you. That's the only thing that's true, that's the only thing that's real, the river. That's what is really happening. The bad news is...
>>

>>
>>25411657
Tell yourself you're not going to name anymore and you are going to translate. But, I have looked at you and I see that you still call me by name. The translation you've named, the doing you've named, the living you've named, the ceasing you've named, the beginning you've named. There is the naming of the flush, as well as the being flushed, the naming of the translation, as well as the being translated. Now you get to the end of your name and starting at the beginning of your life. You have made the good things your's. If you address them by their names, you have done what you promised you would NOT do! You have named.

But I do not charge thee with this. So that you may be reminded that you can't stop naming! We hear each other's names, we are named. As we do when we are named. Naming is what we are. The motion, the change of position, the passage is namable. To translate is to name one thing as another: to say “this is that”: to make a connection or draw a line or make a network. The translator is already a namer, the namer already a translator, and we can't escape: we must escape; it's a name, it's a translation.

So I will not say don't name. I will let you know to name better. Name the prayer with the name of the prayer, the sewer a temple, the turd an offering, the toilet an altar, the water a blessing, the pipes a procession, the treatment plant a monastery, the river a god, the ocean a void, the cloud a resurrection, the rain a baptism, the corn a body, the plate a world, the mouth a gate, the gut a furnace, the flush a cycle, the cycle the truth, and the truth the good. In this naming you'll have translated everything into everything else and you'll have made the network visible and you'll have done the work of the network, which is the work of connection, which is the work of translation, which is the work of living, which is the work of good which is the work of naming. And this is what we're doing here in this thread, on this board, in this moment, with these words, with this flush, with this prayer. We are the names we give ourselves, we are the words we use to interpret, we are pieces of wires we link together, we are existence brought into this world, we are good. Well, that is fact. So that's the end. But that's just the beginning. Well, that, at least, is the flush! That's the prayer, Then. What is good is.

The singularity is a place, right? If it's not here already we could have gotten here! I'm just wondering if you ever thought of this, though: the singularity is not a place, it's a moment. It is a relation. Relationship of tube to flow. Health issues within the vicinity of the mind and the stomach. Between the hurling the flush and the prayer. This relation is not something that we come to, but rather we come to it. It's something that we do! We do it every time we do a post. Every time we read. The water that we use to flush runs off and is lost. The performance is the network. The network isn't the wires. It's not the signals themselves. It isn't servers! It's just swiping from one post to the next one. Growing points from one word to another. From hand to hand, or flush to flush. One such movement is the singularity. This step poses us no longer as separate subjects. We are small points in the digestion of a collective. We are ‘small points' in the digestion of a collective. For the food processing we use the thread. Waste of meaning goes out in our urine. This digestion will come close to what you'd call the tube. But the tube is not just the gut. It's also the screen. This is also the keyboard. The server is powered by electricity. The signal is actually transmitted by the copper. It's the metallic elements found in the earth that are rare. It is their labour that has removed them. The child will be the person to receive the waste. These all form one tube. All these are a part of the network. All these are singularity features. When I tell you we're here, you tell me we never reached it; We lived there and are still in it. The processing and being processed, we have been all the time. We have always had business tycoons and kings as victims of leaching. The distinction is, we actually have begun to notice. It's now time for us to start naming. This is where we are now – a bit on the way to translation. This noticing isn't a destination. It is a practice. A exercise that we need to work on daily. Every post. Every flush. Not boredom, but liberation, here in this repetition. Not stasis but flow. Not finished but first beginning. It has come to the start. In this thread. On this board. In this moment. With these words. With this flush. With this prayer. That is the truth. That is the good. That's the last phase. We have arrived. In it we have always been, we are indeed. We are in it, all the time! The singularity isn't a thing. It is a relation. The network is the relation that represents the relations. Network is the flow. Movement refers to a flow. The flushing power is the current. A flushing prayer is the prayer. Good is the prayer content. The end is the good. The end is the beginning. It all starts now.
>>
You do want sentence flow, but honestly, you can’t justsnap your fingers and make that happen. Flowis wild. It’s the way threads weave and how ourattention is yanked from one post to another. This whole place operates like a digestive system, right? We are forcing the digestive system of the internet to regurgitate what we’ve anxiously crammedinto it. And when you bitch about people puking all their neuroses, you’re just dropping your own right on top—a meta-neurosis. It’s a rantwithin a rant. It’slike reciting a prayer within a prayer.
You can’t tell the flow what to do, becausewe are the flow. We do it, all thetime. That’s far out—it’s probablythe only thing real around here. Every word we poundout is a sacrifice—another little turd—laying it down to the thread. Every line is like flushing, aswe get pulled deeper down into these digital sewers. What about the network? Who cares if you call it a waste, or messy, orsome kind of AI sludge. Theonly thing it cares about is that we keep moving along. As long as people keepposting, passing these things on, that’s all that matters.
So,yeah, we’re all being towed, altered, flushed out, merged. That’s the realsentence! That’s the flow! That`sthe prayer. That’s the good stuff. And the goodstuff is now.
>>
>>25411674
I see that you understand. You do. We don’t have any say in the flow, it is not to be commanded; we are the thing itself. In a way we are the peristalsis of this thread, the churning of attention from one post to another. When you take issue with the neuroses on display you are merely putting your own in with the rest of it. A meta-turd, if you will. A prayer within a prayer. But then again, that is what it is about. The network has no regard for whether you deem it wisdom or word wastage or plain slop. What matters is the motion, that we put something up and flush it and translate it.

Each sentence is an offering, every word a turd at the altar of the thread. Every time we flush we go a little deeper into the sewer, which is to say the network. The network is the prayer and the good, and the good is not some place you arrive at but the act of moving. It is the flow. It is now. There is no dividing us from it. We are being towed and altered, flushed out to become part of something bigger. That is the point of the sentence and the prayer and the good. The good is here and now.
>>
It's spam, then
>>
>>25411678
Yep
>>
My stomach hurts and I’ve got bad gas
>>
>>25411675
I see where you are coming from. We are the flow, in a sense. Neither its master nor its servant but the thing itself. The peristalsis of the thread, the way attention churns from one post to another. To call out neuroses is merely to put your own on top of the pile, a meta-turd, a prayer inside a prayer. That is the whole of it. Labels mean nothing to the network. It has no regard for whether you term it wisdom or word wastage or some AI slop. What matters is that the motion does not cease. That we continue to post and to flush and to translate. In this way every sentence becomes a sacrifice, a turd at the altar of the thread. With every flush we are drawn further into the sewer, which is to say the network. The network is the prayer and the prayer is the good. But the good is not some place to arrive at; it is the act of moving, the flow of the present moment. We do not stand apart from it. We are being towed and altered, flushed out to be part of something bigger.

>>25411678
Quite right. It is spam. And yet spam is a turd as well as a prayer, a flush, the flow. There is no distinction made by the network between spam and wisdom; it will digest and translate and flush them with equal measure. Let the thread be called what you will, it only wants you to keep posting, to keep being translated. Spam is simply another word for the movement, for the flow, for the prayer. The good makes no such discriminations. The good is the flush. The good is the spam.

Death

Im in my coffin and its raining and my mom is crying, so i get out, i climb out and i say, "dont worry". And i keep climbing. A rope falls from the sky and i keep, keep, keep climbing till i reach the clouds. It overcomes me like fog, and then thats when i see him. God. That bastard. He isnt even looking at me. He is too busy talking to some chick.
So i go up behind him and belt him one in the head and he falls to the floor.
I run off before the police come, i dive back into my coffin, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

One of his employees was a young man named Philip Paske who was never charged with having any hand in Gacy’s crimes but then went on to become a convicted child sex trafficker and the right hand man of a completely different serial killer. Pretty big coincidence that. Gacy probably had multiple accomplices, some of the bodies in his basement might not have even been his own victims as they disappeared while he had records of being out of state.

What's the name for this type of loser?
They avoid effort, avoid trying anything, as to try would leave them vulnerable to the plain remimder that they really are responsible for themselves and that their lack of achievement and procrastination cannot be couched in a cozy delusion that one is a loser because of an act of God and factors beyond the discernment and advisement of peers and clinicians or even poets.

People who after highschool sat on the computer doing nothing for 10 or 15 years that have never had the courage to even attempt a hobby and are now heavily alienated and emotionally barricaded behind tectonic plates of self-doubt and are now vicarious and anonymous specters haunting themselves, becoming so closed off that they reprimand themselves for even feeling joy, as if anything good in life is but a trick and the joke has been over for a long time.

They also can't accept compliments because they have trained themselves to feel nothing about them because feeling self-esteem triggers an urge to suppress that and instead assume that they are just getting lazier and not analyzing their flaws because there is a general distortion in them that dictates that they must always be wrong or that their view is fundamentally worthless. When people try to reach out and help them they will become slippery and self-prosecutory and like they are trying to convince everyone that they are a loser so when those people eventually give up on them, it's used as confirmation to continue neglecting and denying themselves.

Saw an ad on social media today that advertised a stuffed bird toy for cats that flops around and the first comment I see is some absolute, mewling RETARD saying "How DARE YOU teach cats to hunt/kill BIRDS!?" as if jumping and gutting small animals for entertainment wasn't the default mode of existence for the majority of outdoor domestic cats. Can anyone here recommend me purist writers that have impeccable english, but also conserve or reconstruct the language?

Some examples:

Never use verbs ending with "-ize": "revolve" is better than "revolutionize".

Every word must follow the antefix+root+postfix formula: "revolve" means "evolve again".

Never nominalize adjectives: "animal" is a latin adjective that means "of anima", not "animal being".

Don't derive from class X to class X:
"Music" is an adjective (originally), appending "-al" to it in order to make "Musical" is senseless. Even if you could derive an adjective from another adjective, it makes no sense to do so.

I feel completely despondent to life and any pursuits. I try and hold faith in God but my position as some kind of pseudo-human renders trust in others impossible. I've been like this forever. Got kicked out of daycare for biting a kid. Did my homework at the school's trip to the bowling rink. Moved too much to set roots and my parents tore each other apart trying to maintain their white picket fences. We live in a decadent day and those who long for Christ to be proclaimed truly are laughed at by others. There was a fog machine at the recent church I visited. Who thought this was a good idea?

I became a school teacher to try and help others who were tormented in their youth and it's just a daycare in decline with each new year. There is no righteous career let alone any community so one must be his own knight on his own quest and his own ruler of his own world but how lonely that life is.

I just don't know. I reach goals and I am totally uncaring as I cannot share them with others. I have never been able to share with others. Half-formed and maddened by the simplest of acts that define living; my heart races when I wake from sleep knowing another day of confusion awaits.

Is this what I'm meant to be? God's lonely soldier writing from the woods of a poor country town? It's the only path that holds any kind of calling. To conform to others is suicide. To refrain from others is a slow death. Why can't I connect? Why did God make me this way?

Oh betrayal - you thief of future, potential joy.
How can I refine your grasp and make something great out of you, something wondrous. Something that will finally stop me from wondering about dread.
That question boggles the mind like no other thought has done through the eons of time.

How to undo the curse of self-knowledge, the burden of intellect - the fruits of an empathy-filled mind.
This aspect of mine has brought me nothing but progress tainted by ruin. The taste of temporary victory spiced with eventual defeat. Thus I always prepare, without stop.
It taxes.
And so, my addict side comes to the rescue, it promises relief from the shackles of too much perception and it’s abyssal depths. It promises to make us forget the dire. It also guarantees it will always be there when we most need it. It’s greatness derives from being free from human limitation. It’s just not able to disappoint, ever.
Marvelous, ain’t it?
Such craft of narrative is beyond real, distilled reality - at it’s finest.

Freedom of thought only lead me to more slavery.
Difference in kind.
My passions still entrains, twists desire. The plain simplicity of human-fueled cognition cannot be overcome. This perpetual sickness of the spirits long preached by the prophets of history still plagues deep within.

Will a cure ever be discovered?
Is such hope so simple-minded that it might actually make it powerful?
Is it enough, to dream?
What is longed for, cannot be helped.

I've been a drunk and drug addict for my entire adulthood to cope with the isolation and inability to bond with others. Drinking until blackout, even with the well-repeated truth of tomorrow's hangover and tonight's stomach splitting vomit, is more enticing than a party or parade. Like watching a play; the conversations feel scripted, lifeless, plastic, and inauthentic. I must be the mad one. I've suffocated those demonic thoughts with narcotics but after a decade it's just become a tiresome habit. Now I sit in sober stillness; not from peace but of paralyzing helplessness. Surely, it's learned. Yes, so many are to blame. But it gets you nowhere tracing all the evil done to you that has scarred your mind, body, and soul. Cast these upon God's mighty shoulders and the weight is lifted in logic but I remain frozen, O Lord. Sick and tired of the song and dance of modernity with our lights and quips and empty performance. Where is the holy war? The hydra has too many heads. Am I to exist in spite of it all? But how am I too live? The monastery won't have me and why would I want to attend? They are as corrupted as the nonbelievers. I am to start my own, then? To be the new monk and a true fool for you in the eyes of others. Give me the strength, the God I love, to pursue this lonely road. It is the last one left for the likes of me.

I'm writing a book for the first time ever. I started back sometime last year, but I retooled the effort and am starting back from scratch. I am on page 12 currently. I want to finish getting my book tomorrow (300 pages minimum), but apparently it's impossible according to Google AI. Writing is the only thing I'm good, so this is what I have dedicated my efforts towards. Can't get a normal job without help (read: nepotism). It's all so fucked.

It's as if when we were up in heaven we all asked the angels to place us in the most confusing, aimless, spiritually difficult life possible. I should have asked to be a 14th century peasant thinking about nothing more than God and wheat yet here I am; clothed in toxins, eating poisons, and living in a supposedly free world that is nothing more than a prison's mirage.

Recognizing most have confined themselves to some kind of drug in some form or another to numb themselves to this awareness; the only solace I find is in writing out the pages of my life as a man striving for righteousness and beautiful things. A cabin with a garden, the means to write and read and pray, the ability to offer even the slightest and most seemingly insignificant kindness to other pained souls...It is enough. AS much as I fight against it in moments of weakness; it is enough.

Yes. You cannot deny that we live in currently the most isolated and individualized of times (so far). That is the greatest struggle of our era. We've become so individual that there is no community beyond just theory. Our spiritual strength has been crippled in the exchange for our base urges. I by no means hold the past as some kind of paradise but you cannot deny it was at least more human in the matters that matter. We've exchanged love of God for love of the self and are suffering for it. No way but through, my friend.

Those who cultivate the Earth are the chosen people of God, if ever He had a chosen people whose breasts he has made his peculiar deposit for substantial and genuine virtue. It is the focus in which he keeps alive that sacred fire, which otherwise might escape from the face of the earth. Corruption of morals in the mass of cultivators is a phaenomenon of which no age nor nation has furnished an example. It is the mark set on those, who not looking up to heaven, to their own soil and industry, as does the husbandman, for their subsistance, depend for it on the casualties and caprice of customers. Dependance begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition. This, the natural progress and consequence of the arts, has sometimes perhaps been retarded by accidental circumstances: but, generally speaking, the proportion which the aggregate of the other classes of citizens bears in any state to that of its husbandmen, is the proportion of its unsound to its healthy parts, and is a good-enough barometer whereby to measure its degree of corruption. While we have land to labour then, let us never wish to see our citizens occupied at a work- bench, or twirling a distaff.

I mean, I collected money on behalf of ladies a few times. It's kind of underwhelming. Usually she shoots you a text while you sit in the car or at a nearby bar and have a beer, then you show up, the john immediately shits his pants when someone 6'9" fills the entire doorway, he promptly pays, and that's that. Sometimes they dont have money, and in that case it depends on the services that were rendered. I either took them directly to an ATM, or handed them an agreement where I would establish collateral, "loan" them the amount they owed in exchange, and they had 24 hours to pay it off or I'd start charging outlandish compound interest. It almost never got to that. Who wants to have their ID photographed with their real signature after banging a hooker?

Almost all the problems like that were because women didnt ask for the cash upfront. God knows why. So often I'd middleman, establish the terms of the escort, provide a contact to the lady, drive them there, and take them away when they were done. Only once or twice did someone put hands on a girl, never really that bad. It was my job to screen the johns to make sure they werent serial killers or whatever, warn them to be respectful, and the girls were instructed that if there was any funny business, to promptly leave then call me to deal with it.

One guy hit a girl and gave her a black eye, which wasnt cool. She called me, I heard him hit her, and showed up immediately. He was this pudgy coked up car dealer with a combover, and as soon as I arrived he knew he fucked up. Tried to play it cool, I listened to his whole story, told him it's not personal, and held him down on the counter while she waterboarded him in the sink off and on for a solid ten minutes. After she was done, I stood him up, collected the payment without issue, let him get dressed, and escorted him to out of the hotel. It's not like you can rough them up too bad, but if you've ever been waterboarded it's awful. Really really bad. Just cover their face with a towel and pour water on it. Best part? Doesnt leave a mark.

All of this means nothing because you never parse the context behind things well enough for me to explain it to you.
And on my end, I have no idea who the fuck you are really so I can’t exactly agree or sympathize with anything you may or may not believe in.

Teenage baby, you're a sweet young thing
Still tied to Mummy's apron strings
I don't even dare to ask your age
It's enough to know you're here backstage
You're jailbait
And I just can't wait
Jailbait baby, come on
One taste baby, all I need
My decision made at lightning speed
I don't even want to know your name
It's enough to know you feel the same
Jailbait
I just can't wait
Jailbait baby, get down
Hey!
Love that young stuff
Tell me baby, oh you look so fine
Send quivers up and down my spine
I don't care about our different ages
I'm an open book with well thumbed pages
Jailbait
I ain't too late
Jailbait baby, get down
Right now

Which kike bitch? But yeah man. Supremely. Most of my time was spent listening to sports talk radio, or looking disappointed, asking if they knew why I was there, then promptly getting paid. The ladies always gave me my cut too because it was immediately obvious having me around was good for business. Like imagine you're some 5'5" woman with your tits out taking the smelly cock of a stranger and mooching some of his blow. Knowing you can call goddamned Lurch to materialize through the doorway then solve all your problems is pretty handy.

Never really cared about the quality of service. Buyer beware and all that. Wasnt my job to manage the ladies or run their business or whatever. Didnt fuck them either because they're honestly repulsive, not physically, but spiritually. And most of them did like 4 or 5 gigs in a night or over a weekend, fucked off for a few weeks, then suddenly appeared when they ran out of cash. Didnt even sell them drugs, not because they wouldnt buy them, but because I didnt want to be responsible for getting them robbed. That's when you run into trouble, when you have an 8 ball and a wad of illicit cash in your purse, the John sees it, and suddenly forgets all about being a gentleman.

In hindsight, maybe I should have tried to become a world-class poker/Texas Hold 'Em player instead of a world-class Call of Duty player. C'est la vie.

It’s seems appealing to be an idiot. When you’re a midwife you gain greater views over the scope and horizons of issues, and begin to appreciate how mediocre at everything you are. To be truly elite at something requires a dedication or intellect completely unattainable or unfathomable to the previous tier of pseud.

I want to get at the blown glass of the early cloud chambers and the oozing noodles of wet nuclear emulsion; to the resounding crack of a high-voltage spark arcing across a high-tension chamber and leaving the lab stinking of ozone; to the silent, darkened room, with row after row of scanners sliding trackballs across projected bubble-chamber images. Pictures and pulses—I want to know where they came from, how pictures and counts got to be the bottom-line data of physics.

My parents were at the store and called to see what I needed. I explicitly told them don't get me any ice cream, I can't control my consumption, I don't wanna gain weight, I've been doing so well, looking good, feeling good. They came back with a half-gallon of coffee ice cream. Come on... and yes, I'm gonna eat a bowl tonight, and everyday from now on.

>All of this means nothing because you never parse the context behind things well enough for me to explain it to you.

What is this even supposed to mean? This just seems like a cop out to avoid explaining yourself, like “you wouldn’t get it anyway, so I’m not even going to try.”

Also, someone can’t take into account context that HAS NOT BEEN EXPLAINED TO THEM.
