Men call me Darkstar, and I am of the night.
>And won't my bastard love that? Lady Walda is a Frey, and she has a fertile feel to her. I have become oddly fond of my fat little wife. The two before her never made a sound in bed, but this one squeals and shudders. I find that quite endearing. If she pops out sons the way she pops in tarts, the Dreadfort will soon be overrun with Boltons. Ramsay will kill them all, of course. That's for the best. I will not live long enough to see new sons to manhood, and boy lords are the bane of any House. Walda will grieve to see them die, though.
>>25477918Roose is so unbelievably based
>>25477908seethe targshitter, HightowerCHADS outlived your shitty little house
>no source of Maegor being as bad as they saidkek, good joke!
Has any house had it worse than the Durrandons? Imagine getting your castle, sigil and house words repurposed by the enemy. There is more dignity in being wiped out and erased from memory.
>>25477951There are worse ways to go. Argilac went out like a man, and Orys respected him so much he jacked his whole style and kept the Durrandon legacy alive. Also the seed is strong
>>25477951Where does the name Baratheon come from if Orys was Aegon's bastard brother? Did some cuck noble raised Orys as his own and gave him his name knowing that he was actually the son of Aegon's father? >>25477903I read Fire and Blood and fuck, does GRRM love his blond twink dinasty so much. It seems that not a single Targaryen ever lost a fair fight (real, not tourney) to a non-Targaryen in that period (and i suspect, ever, untill Robert beat Rhaegar). Every single Targ defeated in battle did so in the hands of another Targ (Aegon the uncrowned, Aemond, Rhaenys, Rhaena or Baela) and everytime a Targ dies to someone else is through the use of some sort of subterfuge (Aegon I's sister, Jacaeris eldest son, Aegon II, Rhaenyra's eldest son). I'm convinced the only reason why Daeron got killed in his tent without a fight is because GRRM could not bear the pain of writing a Targ losing to a non-Targ in a dragonfight, considering Seasmoke was larger than Tessarion and that would be the likelly outcome.
>>25477918poor Bolton just wanted fun sex
I wonder if petroleum oil has magical properties in the asoiafverse, all that heat and pressure and dead sea life. Maybe that’s what oily black stone is, oil frozen by magic and used for mysterious and nefarious means
>>25478013George said Baratheon was from the Valyrian language, so it’s either a Valyrian word for something, an old Valyrian surname, or a descriptive like “son of atheon”
>>25478040The “theon” part of Baratheon and it being Valyrian makes me even more confident that Stark, Baratheon, and Greyjoy were proto Valyria / empire of dawn people alongside Hightowers and Daynes
>>25477922>
>>25478048*Durrandon
>otto Hightower becomes hand of the king >dance of dragons happens shortly after >Jon Hightower becomes hand of the king >Blackfyre rebellions happen shortly after>Gerold Hightower becomes kingsguard >Tragedy of summerhal happens shortly after, and then Robert’s rebellion after that
Westeros is ruled in a completely nonsensical manner>'absolute monarchs' with absolutely no power outside of their immediate demesne>administration is non-existent >The only things that a liege lord has is taxes(?) and can act as a war leader to call the banners>Houses despite even treason never ever lose any land ever and the crown or liege lords never try to consolidate their lands>Zero lordly representation or community of the realm like a parliament outside of once a century ad hoc councils
>>25478049>they got away with it….
>>25478111>Houses despite even treason never ever lose any land ever and the crown or liege lords never try to consolidate their landsNot true
If Gregor (the Mountain) didn’t have such awful migraines all the time, do you think he would have been a less awful person?
>>25478355No, he was a monster from the start if we believe Sandor.
Who do you think was freakier in bed, Lyanna or Rhaegar
Valyria is so interesting to meI wish I could explore it like Euron
>>25478436>like EuronWith human drones?
>>25478447Personally in a magical suit of valyrian steel armor
>>25478185
>>25478111>>25478185Meanwhile, House Peake commit treason again and again (to the point of literally killing a KING) and remain lords with lands and titles. But House Osgrey are busted down to a landed knight, essentially living in a trailer park.
I can't think that Lyanna cucked my liege, king and lord, BOBBY B for a fucking twink. And whatever the case, that faggot got what deserved, ie getting his fucking chest caved in. The pain he felt as he was dying makes me smile with joy, specifically because he knew that his house would be eradicated soon after.
Stannis! Stannis! STANNIS!imagine being amongs the riders of Stannis during the Battle Beneath the Wall
>>25478614His northern campaign involves some of the worst conditions a soldier can be subjected to in the asoiaf world, which makes it even more impressive that Stannis managed to keep his army together at all. His most impressive victory yet will be the Battle of Ice, only question is what the hell he's going to do afterwards.
Why do these books command so much interest that this general exists? Are they THAT good? I mean yeah I read AGoT back when season 1 and 2 was airing and yeah it was good, but what's the appeal? You guys are never seeing winds of winter

I actually like the Dothraki and ironborn
A bear there was, a bear, a BEAR! All black and brown and covered with hair!
>>25478785they believe in the mannis himself
>>25479139>bear sexually assaults girl >she resists at first but ends up liking itUmmmmm George?
kinda funny that westeros has never been ruled by a woman is gurm's feminism greatly exaggerated?
>>25479245Greatly but he has been getting worse over time
>>25479114I do too but I can admit that their cultures are fully retarded
>>25479245George is secretly a Trumper. He chortled to himself both times a woman lost to House Trump.
I’m now of the opinion that wet unfused black stone is the required ingredient for fused dry black stone. I don’t think just any type of stone can do the trick.
>>25478436What is>the black blood of demons
So what's the deal with the Mad King play? Is it written by George? Is it canon?I heard some garbage that Bobby only beat Rhaegar because Rhaegar refused to kill him, and then he had a dragon dream and Bobby killed him instead. Or something like that. And that Robert beat The Mountain Idk.What's the TL;DW?
>>25479457>Is it written by George? No. >Is it canon? No, although apparently some of its elements are probably canon to the books according to Elio and Linda, even if it might play out differently. I think the most obvious is R+L=J and Lyanna going with Rhaegar willingly, although only delusional people denied it by this point.
>>25479466I see. Thanks.
