I really want to get stoned. It's been about a week or so now. During the days, once the grogginess has passed -- I'm consuming serious NyQuil to sleep -- I feel like I'm more alert, confident, energetic, et cetera. But then at night, I get so tired and desperate for any sort of mental change-up. It's not so much that I'm depressed, I've been pretty even keel the last couple years (not much joy in my life, generally, but no real despair either). It's just this tension, an internal motor always going, rolling out thoughts. Not new thoughts, almost entirely re-runs: despair at the prospect of working at ____ for the rest of my life, fear of getting fired (I do as little 'real work' as possible), anxiety to complete any sort of worthwhile writing. I average two or three decent sentences before I get bored with myself and start rambling, aimlessly filling pages. If I do interiority, I can't work in action. If I do action, it's flat on the page. Sometimes I wish I had no creative compulsion. A big thing that's put me off medication is the risk that I won't want to write; but when I think about it, is that really so bad? It's not like I'm throwing out a prospective career. I have interesting ideas, and even with the best ones, plots I'd love to read in the hands of another author, I am incapable of doing anything interesting. A good opening, and some decent character work at best. Would being freed from this need be such a bad thing?
>>
Every time I've ever felt good in my life has been nothing but a momentary delusion.

Last time I took medication, I got really confident in my singing and guitar playing, and started posting covers to TikTok. I was spending a lot of time 'picking' with my borderline retarded cousin, who, in 25 years of paying, could still not play an F-chord, or any bar chord for that matter. Anyway, he constantly tried to get me to do open mics, which luckily I had the presence of mind to avoid. But I did start doing TikToks, just to see if there was any hope, any kernel of talent. What I didn't know, is they shoot those out to people in your hometown first thing. So my play statistics were all repeat plays from people my age, in my shitty little town, people who I was certain were making fun of me. Probably at parties I wasn't invited to. I was mortified, but with my Lexapro (c) confidence, I convinced myself it didn't matter and just kept at it. I'd usually get a dozen, maybe two dozen likes at best, but even those I wondered if they were just being nice. I do that sometimes, when I see someone trying and failing at something like that. One comment that stuck with me 'U look like youve seen some shit.'
Anyway, I guess the fear is I'd do something like that again, which seems awful now, but then again, I am mentally ill, so maybe it's not a big deal and I had it right the first time. Other people can roll with embarrassment, right? Is it such a big deal to be passionate about something you're bad at? I find it endearing in others, but sometimes pitiable too. I guess that's what I fear most, is being pitied. I saw people doing that with my father, and it made me sick.

So it comes out that Ivy Wolk and Cameron Winter had a monthlong fling, he broke it off, and Wolk went on a podcast to shittalk him, doing the usual "I never really liked him he was weird and odd and strange and here's a bunch of intimate details he told me in confidence haha I never liked him haha." Then her standup material is all 'waaa why do decent men never want to be with me waaaa.' How can someone be so unselfaware?
>>
Weed addiction sucks. I am 10 weeks sober. Never again.
>>
>>25512669
I wasn't smoking any weed for a decent period of time around then and when I deleted all that stuff. I did stop taking the Lexapro because I couldn't cum, and it didn't help with the emotional numbness I was experiencing. I got a couple grams for my birthday a few months ago and didn't stop until recently, because for whatever reason I just get too into it.

The stupidest part is I genuinely don't even enjoy it most of the time anymore. I have this weird situation where mentally, it doesn't change anything (or almost doesn't change anything), except I get this insane anxiety around my breathing and my heart rate. Every time I'd tell myself "oh, your breathing is fine, this happens every time and you wake up the next day" but then once I'm falling asleep, all I can think is that I'm about to have a heart attack or something. Even going through that every night, I had to wait until I was out of everything to stop, because I'm so compulsive with it. Literally all it does for me is slows the thoughts down and makes me think I'm dying, and I still want to see if there's anything left in this cart. I am a moron. I don't have this at all with alcohol, I don't understand it.

In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Except, of course, the one I actually want to read. The Atlantis one is inside a secluded llibrary within the municipium of La Chingada de Satanás, Tlaxcala.

In other news, today I read three Jorge Ibargüengoitia stories. All of which were extremely funny, but unfortunately the last two were very sexual in nature and I got tired of them. Maybe I'll read more later. His stories are not very demanding though I enjoy his style so far; he did not seem to be a very pleasant person.

First you say something, and nobody pays attention.

Then you say it again, and they roll their eyes.

Then you say it again, and they laugh at you.

Then you say it again, and they get angry at you.

Then you say it again, and they act like they knew it all along.

This has happened to me before with one thing (internet's influence on society) and now it's happening again with another thing (dangers/power of AI) and I don't know if I could bear it happening a third time. Most people I know IRL are still in the laugh stage/beginning of the angry stage. I was saying shit like "huh, it doesn't seem like 'unplugging it' is going to work if it's capable enough" in 2018! You're just now realizing things that I got to 5 years ago! Maybe, just maybe, I'm right!

I have a theory about modern life
Goes as follows - What you men
Conjure up - The sorry people
Swallows

I busted my back - And ate the
Furling rotten oats
In my belly of coffee and soot
You want ashen men, s'pose?

I am your true boy - My mug
Said it when I was just a
Kid. I leveled your unhumoured
Brow - So as a man I did
What I did to entertain you

My acid-burp game - I called
It knife-play at the trough of
The prodigal boy and pig

I cut sows their meat and then
I stumbled about aisles of
Unreputed night-dames

"I'll show them" - My scowling
Teeth - 'Ladies don't you see
The humour in me!' - "I'm all
Weary per your sights
And yet for my fair friend I
Delight!"

I staved off the night - for
Difference. "I'll make a chain of
Night-songs for you" - Maid
With crickets at her breast
"You were so true, when the
Streets, Cain did so blast."

Wisdom comes from learning from our mistakes and many mistakes have no second chances, often we truly understand lessons from such mistakes only after committing them. Even when willing we fail to truly heed what people before us warned us about. For instance, throughout history people have written the feelings of intense sorrow when someone close to us dies but we only truly understand it after it happens to us; we only truly understand it once we personally experience it; when there is no turning back time and its too late to make amends.
And given we humans take vast majority our experiences and therefore wisdom to the grave and eventually are replaced by newborn humans who have to relearn everything just how we did. One can summarize entire human history as a child's game of telephone, only matter of time before one of the kids doesn't understand the message and presses big red button that ends the whole game.
In my opinion, this is humanity biggest folly, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes.

Yesterday I was asked if I believe in demons and I earnestly do. In fact, I think being drunk makes you more susceptible to possession. When i'm drunk I can become a completely different person, and will keep drinking despite my health and reputation. Even my ex said that in times of extreme intoxication it appeared as if there was something else behind my eyes, something foreign.
I need to be better, and I need to stop drinking. It's ruined my life and is only going to ruin it further unless I stop for good, now.

Let's some historical event Y takes place at location X in a field. Hundreds of years go by, and as the result of erosion, geological forces, earthquakes, whatever, the field shifts west about 100 yards.

I feel inspired. I always do when I consume art, mainly fiction. It needs to be a routine. I don’t want to be a historian, I want to be a novelist, so why am I spending most of my time reading about Ancient Greece and Rome. The tragedians and poets of course. The foundation of fiction, but why am I reading articles about how Cagarieus Romulan liked to eat figs for dessert. I do want to be well read which means the philosophy and The Histories and the science, but it should all be supplemental to what I truly care about, writing fiction. Essays, newsletters, articles. These are fine reads, but it’s not teaching me more than just a fucking grammar book and a Chekhov short story will. The non-fiction and life give me ideas, but the fiction guides me. It’s all important, but to stay focused I need discipline and inspiration. Fiction inspires me to stay disciplined. Even bad fiction, especially if it’s popular, cause I know I can do better than that.

From the conquest of Sicily well into the Christian era, Italy ceaselessly received numerous—indeed countless—influxes of the Semitic element; the entire South was Hellenized, and the northward surge of Asian peoples was halted only by the Germanic invasions. Yet the tide of this southern influx extended beyond Rome. The city steadily lost its original character. There was, to be sure, a gradual progression in this decline, but never a true pause. The Semitic spirit relentlessly stifled its rival. The Roman genius became estranged from the primal Italic instinct, taking on a quality in which the Asian influence is readily discernible.

Be that as it may, literature was born, and with it—undeniably—a significant share of the nation's renown, as well as the reason for the stir created by the rest; for it cannot be denied that the Semitized mass from which the Latin poets and historians emerged owed its talent for eloquent writing solely to its impurity—such that it was the learned grandiloquence of these collateral bastards that led us to admire the exploits of ancestors who, had they been able to review and consult their own genealogies, would have hastened to disown such respectful descendants.

Along with books, a taste for luxury and elegance emerged as new needs, reflecting changes that had occurred within the race. Cato disdained such things, yet his very disdain was affected. With all due respect to the renown of that sage, the vaunted Roman virtues he paraded were found even more earnestly—and yet more modestly—among the patricians of old (1). In their day, there was no need to make a show of virtue to stand out; everyone was virtuous in that same manner. In contrast, the merchant—now a knight, enriched by trade or extortion, and bearing the blood of Eastern mothers and Greek or Syrian freedmen—saw no merit whatsoever in primitive austerity. He wished to enjoy in Italy what his Southern ancestors had created in their own lands, and so he brought it with him. He kicked aside the wooden bench where Dentatus had once sat, replacing such humble furnishings with couches of citrus wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl and ivory. Like the satraps of Darius, he required vessels of gold and silver to hold the fine wines that fueled his intemperance, and crystal platters to serve the stuffed boars, rare birds, and exotic game devoured by his lavish gluttony. For his private residences, he was no longer content with structures that men of old would have deemed splendid enough to house the gods; He desired immense palaces featuring colonnades of marble, granite, and porphyry, along with statues, obelisks, gardens, farmyards, and fishponds; and amidst this luxury—to enliven the scene of so many picturesque creations—Lucullus kept throngs of idle slaves, freedmen, and parasites circulating about, whose servility, born of base self-interest, bore no resemblance to the martial devotion and solemn dependency of the clients of an earlier age.

The Numidian was certainly a skilled horseman, and the Balearic a slinger without peer; the Spaniards provided infantry that defied comparison, while the Syrians—still captivated by the legacy of Alexander—supplied recruits whose reputation was as great as it was deserved. Yet all these merits paled beside those of the Gauls. Their swarthy, short—or at least medium-sized—rivals in glory could not match the martial bearing of the towering Treveran or Boian, a man better suited than any other to carry with ease, upon his broad shoulders, the immense weight that standard discipline imposed on the legionary foot soldier.

It was therefore with good reason that the State sought to increase recruitment in Gaul, and especially in Germanized Gaul. Under the Twelve Caesars, even while political power remained concentrated among the southern populations, it was already the North that bore the primary responsibility for maintaining the Empire's peace through force of arms.

Is it possible to write like this and still stay self-aware in your belief in a superior Aryan race? Harvard level graduate in mental illness maybe? Keep in mind that this book is supposed to build the basis of all posterior fascist thought.

The Germanic peoples, called upon to lead the empire, found it an exhausted and moribund body. To sustain this vast entity, they were constantly compelled to contend with the demands of a temperament unlike their own, with whims born of general malaise, and with the feverish agitations that were equally fatal to the maintenance of public peace. Hence arose measures of severity—all the more excessive because those who deemed them necessary, lacking full insight into the complex nature of the society they were dealing with, easily lapsed into the abusive use of reactive methods. With all the intolerant fervor of youth, they carried proscription in the political sphere and persecution in the religious sphere to extremes. Thus, they appeared as the fiercest enemies of Christianity. Though destined later to become the propagators of its greatest triumphs, they began by misunderstanding it, falling prey to the calumny that dogged it. Convinced that this new faith represented one of the most threatening forms of philosophical unbelief, they were initially repelled by it—driven by their innate love for a defined religion as the foundation of all orderly government; yet what they loathed was not the faith itself, but a phantom they believed they saw. One is therefore less inclined to reproach them for the harm they personally inflicted than for the far greater damage they allowed the Semiticized adherents of the old cults to perpetrate. Yet, one must also be wary of demanding too much of them. Could they have stifled the inevitable consequences of a corrupt civilization they had not created? To reform Roman society without overthrowing it—that would indeed have been a noble achievement. To gently, imperceptibly substitute Catholic purity for pagan depravity without shattering anything in the process—that would have been the ideal outcome; yet, upon reflection, such a masterpiece would have been possible only for God.

Sister's dog is about to die. I dont talk to her for 7 years already.
I distinctly remember once being so deeply alone, with no one to talk to, no one to take my side and no one to sympathize with me. I was in a living room and saw the dog on the couch. In my immense pain i had no where else to go but to that dog. I came to him and wanted to hug him- he immediately walked away and left me.

Thanks. Its just one of those things. You can talk all you want, you can explain all you want, people just wont get it. They just dont get it. They dont understand you and you have to accept it. I guess people( even in close family) have a narrow idea of what you are and what youre supposed to do and if you dont fit that idea, if you grow, change or reject the box, they go mental on you

Tip for attractive men: to be polite, when walking by a couple, smile at the guy, don't look at the girl. Unless you like being a dick and mogging the guy. If the girl is a good one, she won't look at you anyway out of respect for her man. If she does and smiles... damn. Which happens about half the time.

It once happened to me that girl looked at me while kissing/ hugging the guy.
That was when i was young and naive but stuff like that eventually wore me down( women being whores) that i was brought down to their level. The pain of loneliness was too much. Im still not crooked though, but i cant say im any better than some random woman cause when you actually are better than them, those wretched wenches have their ways of bringing you down. Though you have to let them so its still on you, but saying that its my fault is too much cause you have no way of knowing these things beforehand, ie. no experience. Though in a way are you really better if youre oblivious? The only way youre truly better is if you know what sins men and women do and you resist them. Even then you arent really better, just more godly, closer to God.
Please God help me....help us

I never and very probably will never experience this. Its not even about the sex, its the intimacy. I dont know how to make a woman care about me. I dont know if im supposed to do something for her to care about me or im supposed to bee urself. Is this good? Then i want it. Looks good. Probably feels good, feels heavenly. My catholic upbringing made me ashamed of sexuality. But even if i wasnt ashamed i wouldnt want some casual purely physical relationships. Also im a very jealous type and thats not good at all for relationships with women these days. But hell, seeing this image makes me think.............what does it feel like to experience that
