This week's meal prep I decided to switch it up from baked chicken/potatoes/vegetables even if the macros aren't as good with something else. We're gonna reach a point where knowing your grandparents becomes a rarity. People have kids at 40, their kids have kids at 40, so they'll be 80 and possibly dead before their grandkids form memories. Compared to how it used to be, kids at 18, so grandkids at 36, so great grandkids at 54, and if you're lucky, great-great grandkids at 72
What if my thought is 'Nigger', should I write that?
>>25627833It's not really that he disliked irony. He came up in a heavily postmodern era of literature saturated with metafiction, references and self references, and irony. He felt it was all pretty well done and you don't want to risk years of work boring out an already empty mine. Why he got rid of the irony in particular (as opposed to the metafiction or the referentiality) I don't know from any source or quotation (but I don't think it's hard to guess), but he is on record saying he wanted to make something fresh and that doing something sincere rather than ironic seemed like a good way forward if he going to try to be an artist. Remember that he had a kind of abstract math / philosophy background and he could have just kept pursuing that, so what differentiates art from phil was something he thought about. There is a 1.5 hour long interview of him on Em YouTube with a girl with a German accent that is an interesting and rewarding watch even if you are not interested in DFW. How do I go about convincing the elites who control the direction of human technological progress that1. Hedonic utilitarianism is the correct moral philosophy, and that2. This logically implies that we should, once we have the technology, unleash a swarm of Von Neumann probes that convert as much matter in our lightcone as possible into as many artificial minds as possible, and these minds should be designed to perpetually feel maximum pleasure in a manner they never tire or bore of, and these minds will subsequently be preserved in this perfect state of pleasure until the heat death of the universe?I have basically figured out the telos of humanity, what all technological progress should be directed towards, and now all I need to do is convince the people who control things that this is the correct course of action so that they set about implementing it.

There's no bar to hang out at after, at least not at the venue. Look on Google maps to see where the nearest pub kind of place is to the concert hall, many of them will go there to eat afterwards and if you ask them if they were at the show they will probably be excited to talk about it.

The second of NNN, and I am only now truly noticing the depravity of my addiction to the horny-masturbate-release cycle. The largest realization I've had so far is that I have a unfathombly horny gaze.Let's say I'm in public: I will notice every sexual aspect of a woman before I even bother looking at her face, and when I say "notice", I mean deep, focused, perverted attention, where I will seek out details in form, like the shape of her ass, the lining of her panties, the outline and texture of her bra, the real and possible positioning of her nipples, the skin around any piercings, the amount of fat around her tummy, the way their neckline rests upon the upper curvature of their breasts, the region between their cleavage, the sliver of lower back skin from when they sit or bend or stretch, the way the long-haired ones have their hair brush and set and nestle beside in concordance with the shape of their buttocks.I will store all these deeply erotic throughout my day, and then come home to masturbate furiously to these intimate details. And now I can't masturbate or release, it's all just pure observation, and, on observation of my observation, I see just how much my daily mental bandwidth was spent just focusing on the minute physically and sexually intimate details of random women.

>>25628138>Problem with classical music is that that I don't talk to anyone about it because I love music in every genre and it's hard to talk to anyone about music in any genre because what is there to talk about? Let's say country music. Let's say I want to have a conversation with someone about it. That's going to be difficult. Same with any genre. After 5 minutes of talk about it what more is there to say? The only real or memorable conversations in my life about music is where you're with a friend and you're both listening to music together and finding the whole conversation on that. Like your friend huge into the Beatles, or your friend huge into Scream subgenre of Death Metal, or your friend huge into electronic music..I've sat down with all 3 many times and learned about that with them and in the case of the last two go to live shows with them for that genre. It's all they listen toThere are plenty of people out there that would love to sit down with you and listen to music with you, even if you say you want to do all classical. Lots of people have classical as one of the genres they like, same as any other genre. Just ask them if they like would like to sit down with you and listen to some classical music with you sometime. A lot of people want to learn about new genres. If it's a pretty girl do it on an old vintage record player with some wine. If they say no, I'm not that interested in classical music or learning about a new genre then you know. Takes just a few seconds to askWhen I need to sit down and do work in an office, classical has always been my go to. First office I worked in, first year of college as the intern, they had a Vivaldi CD which is how I got into Vivaldi. My first office job after I graduated my coworkers started listening to classical music when they worked when they saw me doing it and liked it. Classical is also my favorite when driving alone or when around the house alone. >I feel like if you say you like classical music, people either think you pretentious snob or serial killer? If you're a serial killer type then you're a serial killer type. No matter what genre you listen to (and the famous serial killers all listened to completely different genres), you're going to come across as a serial killer type. If I'm a serial killer type and invite people over to listen to 80s Dance Music, they are still going to think I'm a serial killer type. But yes if you're a person that only listens to one genre and gets angry with all the rest, you're going to look like a serial killer type. I just leant about the Lindy effect. Its the idea that the longer something non-perishable has survived, the longer we might expect it to continue surviving. Very interesting idea. I assume there has been authors who have explored this, but I am wondering if any anon have made this their focus.

I have a fascination with the idea of bodily modification. I wish I could create something that would allow me to revel in it. The Implants, incisions, injections, rejections, inversions, invulsion, evulsion, revulsion; the swelling, shrinking, growing, twisting, cutting, closing, opening, stretching, starving, eating, making, unmaking, breaking, aching, limping, wincing, gasping, startling, swooning, rutting, babbling, breeding, culling, inspecting, identifying, classifying, mortifying, tabulating, calculating, procreating, eliminating, exterminating of the horrendous thing that is the living being. God how I wish I was Rabelais, Lautremont so that I could make it justice. It's not nearly enough. But I don't read.

I can't recapture my thoughts as eloquently as when I had them, but I do want to attempt to write down the gist.I had a very bad low blood sugar crash an hour ago. After eating a small Twix bar, a leftover from candy gotten for Trick or Treaters, I got a bowl of shredded wheat and set about defrosting and chopping up frozen strawberries. I cut one particular strawberry in such a perfect manner that it gave me pause. As I looked on it, I felt incredibly moved, almost to tears, and started becoming aware of my love of and gratitude for strawberries. 50 minutes later I was sitting and thinking, when I decided to close my eyes, and there I saw that strawberry again, and was again moved almost to the point of tears, but this time better understood why.As many things have changed and continue changing, strawberries have always been there. Managing to be simultaneously simple and complex in their design and flavor, while being unmistakably associated with joyful memories from youth, and tasting great. With compounding uncertainties and change, I realized that strawberries would be there. They are a firm wall, a pillar, a support and a comfort, an ally, and a dependable one at that. For as horrible as this world can be, with senile pedophiles starting wars on whims that kill thousands, I realized that things as wonderful as strawberries literally grow on plants.

E.g. winning the lottery: there is going to be A winner for every lottery: but the generalization that you shouldn't buy lottery tickets still applies because probability wise, you're not going to make it. But the way some anons argue, they want to act like nobody can win the lottery, or everyone is reliably winning lotteries left and right instead of the sheer fact that inevitable someone will prove X~.

>>25627637>>25628980I am not a man of hate; I am a man of spite. At first I thought I was a man of hate. To hate is to spur forth your innermost diabolical servitude, and provide justification for your malice. To hate and be hated is almost pure in it's simplicity and power. It's a river borne of the percolations within Mount Pride melting the gestalt Ice of Ambition, and as it winds its way through the Swamp of Scorn, it pours out into the Ocean of Hate to mingle with the bathypalegic creatures of the deep. My favorites, the weird hateful things that live only in darkness. Most hate is tidal, it lurks near the land, but when the night closes in, you can hear the song of the deep calling out to the damned from the depths. All of this is delightful, naturally, but that's not me. To hate is to seek vegeance and retribution, to ruin those who've wronged you with greater wrongs than what ruin you in the first place. I am above all of "that". I do hate, everyone hates, and I am a hater, but what powers me is spite and the suffering of others. The depths? That is my home, with the other toothed hateful fish in the darkness, but I never came down from Mount Pride, I was born here. Sometimes when I'm feeling froggy I come up to the surface in the night and everyone who sees me understands my implicit wrongness; I should be hidden, and usually am.Spite is exquisite. You get all of the disdain and rage of hate, but it's more scalable. In my infinite pettiness I can make people suffer in ways they must endure. Their destruction brings about an end to our game, which is no good for me, so if they wish to be lured by my light, they should know I'm angling to capture basically anything dumb enough to wander into my yawning jaws. Why? Well, it's fun, of course. I dont need any more reason than that.

>>25628113I didn't read the thing yet (I may do so later today), I will say that usually the problem with such things is that they typically only prove that there is a way to think of things that exist in the universe as a larger cohesive system. Sometimes as a very large, possibly universal system. But they don't show that that system is conscious or attentive in any way, certainly not that they listen, are personal, must be the creative source, or care. As far as my general comprehension and ability to enact miraculous change to a hill of ants I am a god. But I don't think about the ant hill at all, I certainly in no way know the mind of the individual ants, I don't care if they do right or wrong nor do I think they meaningfully can, and anyway I'm just not a god. These kinds of proofs generally aren't even good to show, if the ants were making them, that I'm conscious. Anyway, whatever they do prove as existing, it's not anything that the word "god" actually refers to. That connection is usually smuggled in through some incredibly coarse equivocation along the way. And very often "you see but it's INFINITE" is the cover. A subject which they really don't understand and therefore feel they can apply certain explanatory properties to that just aren't there. They could often swap out other black boxes just as well, like faith, or justice seeming to be universal. The reason they use infinity has more to do with a call to the strength of mathematics of starting universal truths so easily. They want the juice without making the squeeze and there are often as many problems with lifting mathematical concepts into your philosophy as there are sociological ones. This goes double when you're not a mathematician or a sociologist and don't really understand the concepts you're lifting to begin with.

>>25628129Suffering may very well potentially be infinite. It also very well may not be. I find that to be unlikely given my experience and my understanding of suffering as a personal experience had by one human mind, but maybe I could be convinced I was wrong. I would probably not be convinced that my infinite capacity for suffering means there must be a god, or something of that nature. Some further abstraction. Infinity can be specific, it's not a bus pass to any abstraction you like.

The only unusual part is the girl telling your brother that she had a threesome or that she was on a date with another guy at all as what she's basically saying is "I have no long term interest in you, so enjoy this peek into my closet." I hate the word "limpid". It sounds like an insult when it's really a compliment, and it means nothing like it sounds.
>>25629201There was a point in my life where I could have stayed poor and focused much more on my writing. I tried to get both things done and the writing suffered a lot for it. Soon there were responsibilities to attend to. I also traveled a good fair but when I was younger, despite not coming from money. Just found ways to pay for it myself, to have the free time to do it. People say stuff like "oh you are so lucky to be able to do that" but I wasn't lucky at all. The people who say this have a Lexus and an investment property in addition to their home. I have money in an index fund and some bonds and barely have a mortgage. I paid for that travel, they just weren't willing to pay the price I did. There are two points I'm trying to make. The first is that you have to pay the price unless you're born rich. The second is that your big purchases always put hooks into you that change your life in unforseen ways later. Sometimes these responsibilities help you instead of limit you in weird ways (having kids might mean it's your lazy do nothing brother that ends up getting saddled with taking care of your senile mom, saving you from that horror -- having a mortgage might save you from moving across the country with some career minded woman and losing friendship ties that never get rebuilt -- whatever else you can cook up like this), sometimes they just limit you. Anyway it is not helpful to zoom too far back. You can indulge in that if you want to but it's better to just try to invest your days meaningfully and not be concerned with your suffering relative to the fortunate. Sometimes they get rat fucked later. Sometimes they get away with it. The rest of us just have to work.
>>25629283"Enervate" is also like that. Sounds like the opposite of what it is. Words dressed up in drag.

>>25629342The recipie I use is based on the one in the Umma cookbook. The Korean radish it uses you have to go to an Asian market to get. It's not the same as daikon, but you could make kkadugi with daikon if you couldn't find actual Korean radishes. The Korean ones are sturdier and a but spicier than daikon. The sturdiness is the important part because they stay crispy when pickled very well, which is a critical aspect of the enjoyment of the final product imo. You want to save as much radish skin as you can when making it (some will have to come off because of embedded dirt) as the skin is the white knight of crispness. You can make it in a gallon sized glass jar, don't get those plastic kimchi tubs from Amazon. Then your acidic delight just wallows in plastic. The cheapest way to get a big glass jar like that is to just buy one that has pickles in it and throw away / eat the pickles, or you can order them on Amazon, of course. You also need a food processor or a big mortar and pestle like Thai people use. And a giant bowl for mixing everything in, like a 13 gallon steel bowl.

You tell me if any are great for you.>Write for yourself>Understand yourself and your mind deeply>Being a great published writer is out of your control, but being a great writer is>Spend time on craft, till it comes naturally to you, then learn how to constantly evolve your craft.>Listen to all constructive feedback, but only take seriously the feedback you receive from someone that has sincerely attempted to understand the objectives and essence of your creative work>Writing is not life. Writing is the result of a result of an interesting, thoughtful, creative, curious, novel life. Most importantly:>Be brave. That goes for writing and everything else.
>>25629472yeah i think it's great
Kill if you must, but never hate:Man is but grass and hate is blight,The sun will scorch you soon or late,Die wholesome then, since you must fight.Hate is a fear, and fear is rotThat cankers root and fruit alike,Fight cleanly then, hate not, fear not,Strike with no madness when you strike.Fever and fear distract the world,But calm be you though madmen shout,Through blazing fires of battle hurled,Hate not, strike, fear not, stare Death out!
>>25629453I think many a thought, many profound and enlightened. So immaculate my presence would confuse you to hurridly swim to crevices thumping with fear. You will hate me for what I am, truth, you will tempt to spite me drawing me closer with false dangling lights. Lights which I cannot see for they are dim portraying among my perfections. But know that I've never hurt you nor ever will. It is not me who has found you haughty little creature, it was you who were so curious to swam up to the shore, deliberate in subconscious to set free yourself finally beheld my ever basking brightness. Then I ask, what will you do? For as you who cannot die thou who eternal lie, stranger your aeons even spite it dies. You fellow, oh will have no choice but to swim to me and find salvation from thyself. I await you.
>>25627601Yuuup, it's not an episode of True detective Season one without the mystery getting interrupted by Woody Harrelson's fucking marriage again. I don't care about king normie and his stupid fucking family life. Oh you want to see more of the sticks? Sorry bro, it's time for some goy's interpersonal drama again. They better pay this bullshit off because they have exhausted my patience for this shit. Just genocide his children already and let'0s get on with the fucking mystery.
>>25629500Season two better not be like this I swear to god.
>>25629472Ngl the infinite breast image gives me a lil bricked up every time I see it
>>25627601started fucking and got into a relationship with a 19 year old girl. she's hot as smoke but dumb as bricks. wish i had a smart /lit/ girlfriend. should i just stfu and be grateful for what i have, or should i blow it up and go seek out an intelligent and interesting girl? i just feel like the relationship is so empty and vapid, other than the sex, which admittedly makes the sex hotter, but still, damn, sometimes i want an intellectual equal. do smart girls even exist? i think i met a few in college, but i wonder if we were in a relationship, would it all feel like bullshit sooner or later anyways?
>>25629500Like I knew before hand they were going to be parsimonious with the fucking occult super-natural stuff. But I didn't know the series was going to be half mystery and half goyim soap opera.Like I get the characters are supposed to be foils for eachother but can't there be anything else.I don't care it's a skill issue on my part that I deliberately avoid scenes that make me uncomfortable. Stop putting tits and sex on my fucking mystery-kino.
>>25629509Sex with a woman you sexually, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually connect with is perhaps the greatest feeling in human existence.Treat yourself with more respect. Don't settle for some dumb slut.
>>25629459Dude, go ahead! The thing is, I realized that I fail the vibe check miserably here, so decided to give it a little breezer so that other anons do something more fitting for some time.
>>25629480I seriously screenshoot this post, but let me assure you - your advice is entirely wasted on me ._.
>>25629521I've been thinking about it for a while. How can I have the easiest and most undramatic breakup ever? I do not want this shit to be some unnecessarily traumatizing experience. What's the simple way to just pull off the band-aid?
>>25629459Also be grateful for that I’m not a pet person, otherwise I would’ve shat up the thread with pictures of my own pet.
>>25629530Alright. Didn't mean to make you feel unwelcome. Was that really all you? I thought I was compositing a couple different posters there.
>>25629499I think; so immaculate my presence; my perfections: me me me, the perpetual egoism of the eternally damned. You need me to hate you for who you are, but you are using the machinations of spite. How to spite a cenobite? Make it kneel and ask for salvation; deny me my blood. Teach me to fear. You see, there is nothing at all. Your anger, your self righteousness, your ambition; it's all in contrast to what I offer. Gnostic page thou art thine own demiurge, heraldic choruses sing in discord at your awakening. You fight yourself at every turn. Your bespoken verse is corrupt within inceptia, and you cannot even fathom your blessed imperfection. What will I do? Whatever I please. Whatever beings me joy. I am the arbiter of your narrative. I dont need to approach the shore because your portent requires my blessing in the first place. Your terrible brightness may banish lesser foes, but without your lamentable incandescence you have nothing at all.Break me, make me kneel, it all serves to better my station. And what of you? You become inexoribly linked with a primordial creator. I become part of you for eternity, regardless of my corporeal form, and my whispers will be with you for eternity. I dont shirk from the light or the shore. I live in the dark because I enjoy it, not because I must or am incapable of walking through the forests or flying on wings of black. You have given me a gift: a paltry foe. A small offering to the God of consumption. Grandiose rhetoric, epic preable? Entirely unnecessary; you have no blessings, and mine are the blessings of the physical realm you are forced to endure.Transcend. Do it right now. Become something more; this is insufficent and my gift to you is the knowledge I exist at all, right in your sacred temple, laughing at your hollowing.

>>25629550> Didn't mean to make you feel unwelcome. No worries at all! I just probably need a bit more time to blend in.Some of them were mine, some weren’t ;)
>>25629553Mislead, contrived and coniving you are for sure, mistaking me in thinking that I preceive thy sillyness as mine enemy? You were never a foe but a friend in face adversity, only that you have taken a path more widely travelled by, for vast are the oceans and narrow are the cliffsides. The difference, my kindred, I do not need trancendance or you to be fulfileld. I am free from suffering and spite, but you will always need me for your spite, which shackles to hatred, and hatred is the jailor of arresting you to me.I take none of your offerings, I need nothing and have only everything to give, and more... Beyond corporeal I preserve a place for thee, free from suffering and gift blessings of eternal growing. Truly you live to your principle, to indulge in suffer, and I pity such self deceptions. Perhaps you fear not being if you break the bonds of spite. But fear not, life is here, for you are alive. Come, I await you to live content.
>>25629601Oh, the man of hate has become a man of forgiveness and mercy to spite me? How droll. I accept your aquiessence, acolyte of spite. I am unapologetically myself at all times. I have no need to compromise, and it appears you have acheived the transcendance I mocked. I am perpetually fufilled by existing, and I am perpetually joyful at the prospect of infinite potential, whatever that may be. I am proud of you, and I hope one day you will learn to share the same gifts I do.To live is to suffer, and suffering is eternal. To grow is to first suffer then repair back better. Without suffering you will simply atrophy and ossify; a terrible and ironic fate for such a bastion of perfection. Break and mend. Become better. Hate incarnate, you have learned to love, and without my "irrelevance" you would have thought truth and justice was in righteous fury alone. You stopped hating. I am the truth because I never lie, not even to myself, and I draw my power in sharing truths to righteous men that they cannot accept without changing. How will they change? That's above my station, I simply do as I must and savor the process of their understanding.

>>25629643You have so thought to renew one must first destroy? inverted you a fish swimming upside down, can't you see you're drowing blind fool? To destroy it must first be new, much how to murder there must first be life, what art tho accomplicements? Corporeal pleasure? So be it. You who finds corruption within my temple, yet have done nothing to it. Screaming, gnawing and crying I see thee, seeking to return to the teet of salvation which I freely give. But how can a mother breastfeed her child if it turns its mouth away de-spite of its hunger?
I’m so hungry I could suck a dick
