It seems quaint that crisis of faith used to be one of the primary subjects of literature and film. It's tricky, because it undoubtedly reflects an important facet of humanity, but will future generations even be able to relate?

I feel underwhelmed. It all balances out.

Vanity of vanities to throw our thoughts into the abyss of this series of tubes, and yet I post.

What went on between the Kennedys and Marilyn Monroe, and who really pulled the trigger on JFK?

Oh thats cool, I was making myself vulnerably to a large audience and you found a way to make it all by yourself. No really, I appreciate it

I have a vivid memory of spectating on my friend in Left4Dead while waiting to respawn. He dropped the middle of the room of all four survivors as a boomer. They all looked at him for a full second or two and then he puked all over all of them and waddled into a closet. I found this incredibly funny and probably woke up my parents with my raucous laughter

What exactly does it mean if a character in a book has an ironic look or an ironic smile?

I honestly don't know how you guys do it. Whenever I get the urge, I just try to get it over with as soon as possible.

unless I've been smoking meth, which makes the orgasm 1000x stronger; literally you cum like a woman, in that your whole body shakes, you lose the ability to see, and it feels like every fluid in your body is exploding out of you, it's insane. that's the thing I miss about meth the most. Sorry I'm immune to the charms of performative MPDGs. In my case her reactions are genuine due to the nature of the show. She also has a physical feature that by itself can be considered a flaw but makes her look that much cuter, despite being older and underdressed. Solitude never bothered me, I'm not one to get hung up on women but lately it's been tough idk why.

It's the trichiliocosm, that's 'tri' for three, 'chilo' for thousand like 'kilo', and 'cosm' for cosmos, the universe. So it's the three-thousand universe, and you're living in it. Each three thousand is a reality in superposition at the same time, which makes up your universe. All entities in the universe may travel between these three thousand realities based on their personal frequencies, coordinate points, and so-called perspectives. The middle thousand realities, are the realities of man, ranging from hopeless bum to great hero. The top thousand realities, are the realities of angels, enlightened ones, and other beings who exist beyond tangible maya. The bottom thousand realities, are the realm of sewage, all the demons, devas, djinns and downright bastards land up here, attacking the rest of the universe because they can only see shit in all their realities, from their world of shit. It's a matter of perspective which reality you live in, and the world changes around you based on what reality you are seeing from. Notice this, and you might even achieve paranirvana

Why aren't there more TV shows about TV shows? I love 30 Rock and Entourage. I ask this because there's like a bajillion novels about writers, writers love writing about writing and writers. Actors and scriptwriters don't like acting and writing about TV?

Oscilation mania, a malaise of the spirit. Each breath scrapes me from within and leaves my essence in a cloud; I can barely feel anything. It's why I smoke, after all.

Heaven above, earth below stretching for miles, and the oblast of man ends abruptly just over the side of every bridge and balcony. My own balcony overlooks the freeway and a stream of winking tail lights dance and bounce as the suspension of late model electrics is slowly pulverized by the hulking lithium payloade within. Pothole hell, owned by neither the state nor man, felt by all. Very apt.

Work hard. Work really hard. Whoops, forces beyond your control have destroyed your suspension. Care a lot. Dont care about anything. Care again about something new. Hope. Have youe hopes dashed. Rebuild. Build resiliance. Have your hopes dashed again. It cycles so quickly I can scarely log what has happened. By design, I hope, because at least intention would imply a structure.

I no longer dream of high school, I dream of what being fresh out of high school felt like.
Just last night I dreamt I woke up in my old room and I briefly felt glad because I would see my friends at school,. But then the realization hit me that school was over, but I was still glad because I could at least message my friends in the morning, but then I realized ten years have passed since I spoke to any of them, and now I don't have a single friend left, and tomorrow all that awaited me was work and all the awful people there. My old room slowly melted away into my current room.
I get why the Japanese are so obsessed with that period of life. It's not that my life got worse afterwards, or that those days were particularly good. There was nothing special going on. I just wish I had taken more photos.

been languishing with my unfinished novel for most of this year. currently working on a part of the story where one of the lead characters (raised catholic, small, short, ambiguously gay) meets the family of the other lead character (raised episcopal, tall, ripped, ambiguously bi, from a line of historic new england WASPs) and they can't decide whether to hate him for being a papist or for being a fag.

both parties are a match made in hell. republicans had all the cards in the world and spent the 2 years they had control of all 3 branches doing ???? and now that democrats are seizing power again they will double down on stupid shit like importing the entire population of africa and giving them all free sex changes just to spite le fascist orange man. all anyone has to do is campaign on, and this is the important part, ACTUALLY FUCKING DELIVER ON basic issues like cost of living and government spending, but for some reason neither party is capable of holding power for more than 5 seconds without turning into either the Trump Dick Sucking Cult or trying to start a transsexual communist revolution
>>

>>25632706
anon you know what I mean is the ballooning government debt and its increasingly dire effects on bonds, interest rates, and markets as a result. it's unsustainable and yet for some reason neither party has a plan to reduce it but rather wants to spend even more on different things and assume someone will figure it out later. it doesn't matter if you're Pro Gibs, if the government no longer has enough money to pay the fucking gibs and no one will lend it any money then the gibs go away and you might as well have voted with the Anti Gibs people.
>>
>>25632711
What I do know is proper deficit spending (aka investing in infrastructure and the people) is a net positive for both the economy and tax revenues than lowering the deficit. And Democrats are always better about that kind of thing compared to "cut taxes and crash this plane with no survivors" Republicans

Since Reagan the Dems have fixed that when they're in power, but it just loads the inflation gun that the Republicans fire whenever they can to fake a good economy, so the Dems probably aren't going to bother any more.

It wasn't my main thing, I only did it to decrease my use of fentanyl (ie make the fentanyl last longer) and to remain productive. And for a while it was only occasionally, then it became once a week, then for a few years there I did it just about everyday because I needed it to be able to do my job and make money, which I, obviously, needed in order to buy more drugs.

>Did it affect you severely physically?
My teeth are a mess, which is caused mainly from not taking care of them and the dehydration. Otherwise, aside from when I was up too long or did too much, it did make me very smart and productive. Some of the things I wrote... I remember, there were a few posts I wrote on here where people responded asking if I actually wrote it or if I ripped it from some professional essay lol, that felt good.

>Anything people dont know about using it?
Like I said, busting a nut on it is probably the single greatest feeling ever.
>>
Rock 'n roll from the 50's to the 70's truly was different in some way. It's hard to put my finger on but Rolling Stones are a great example. Counting Crows Mr Jones is a great example of a classic rock style song in the 90's. The vibe is different

I was always attached to 90s music the most but 70s probably has the most aura. Just imagine being some kid living in peak 70s Cali making iconic memories with some Blue Oyster Cult or Eagles when they were good in the background. 70s music has that slickness and coolness where 90s music is pretty effeminate and nerdy

Anon, I had a dream about you. I was amongst the people you invited, and we were all excited to go. You would treat us to some weirdly cut concoction of cabbage and carrots. How did you know it wasn't tainted with fentanyl? Forgive me for my ignorance but I thought fentanyl was basically in all street drugs these days
>>
>>25632743
Most of our immigration issues come down to not being able to attract the right immigrants any more. Most of that is because Europeans won't come here because we don't provide healthcare and because they're terrified of getting shot.
>>
>>25632768
That's only a problem if you don't do fentanyl. Since I was, hey, if my clear (meth) has some fetty on it, then fine by me! So long as it's not an excessive amount, obviously, which you'd be able to see.
>>
>>25632769
Not an unreasonable point but the more fundamental issue with that is Europeans don't reproduce at high enough rates to even allow for the potential of robust emigration numbers. They don't even have enough for their own countries! So the only option left is to accept from everywhere else or a wholesale policy change and slow it down completely.
>>
I'm just a fat fucking Jew.
>>
>>25632768
>>25632773
On that note, however, since I get regularly drug-tested as part of my methadone program, yeah, I can't do meth even occasionally anymore for that very reason -- ie they wouldn't even care if I popped dirty for meth, but since most street drugs and certainly almost all meth has some fent in it, and fent is effective in small amounts, it would cause me to pop dirty for fent and lose my takehomes, so I can't take the risk.
>>
>>25632781
Consider cutting on carbs. Imagine how you could be slim and handsome fucking Jew?

Recently started working as an independent insurance broker. It involves a lot of cold-messaging strangers. Look at this crazy interaction I had with an individual over Insta today for instance :P This person writes monster smut and calls themself an "artist," BTW.
>>
>>25632777
If we had healthcare, if people didn't worry about getting shot at here, and probably if education wasn't so unaffordable it wouldn't matter if the Europeans weren't fucking enough, we would still be able to say "Give me 300,000 educated Germans next year" and we'd probably be able to get them. It would worsen demographic issues there but there are tons of Europeans who would love to live in a slightly less violent and better safety-netted America. Right now the ones who are interested in a more American life don't come because it's so obviously a worse deal. We only get people now who have basically no built in risk adversion.
