Well I hit another bit of luck.Not only did I find a Dreissen but the arms already fit the shoulder peg on the Gouf. I'll need to adjust a few things, but it's shockingly good for just smashing a few kits together so far.The head is going to be really hard to figure out, but at least the rest will be easy.

>>23469473Always research every turn cheaper options are more efficient, so it is better to do 500, 500 than 1000, 0. Don't Start with the EFF, the EFF campaign has a brutal start and requires playstyles completely independent of normal play. Taking battles with minimal losses is more important than winning fast, the AI will produce way more unit than you can so taking battles where you don't lose anything is very important. Always use your aces, make sure they're always piloting something Aces are a mechanic you can just miss if you're just starting up don't do that, they're a huge force multiplier and ace suits can do stupid things with good pilots in them. The Titans, and Zeon Campaign are great starting points while the AEUG campaign starts in a spot that serves as a major trial by fire for the combat mechanics all 3 are good campaigns to start with.

Most suits have local maximums that you just upgrade into and settle into until you get a new better option in the tech tree. Specific Zeon Tech adviceKeep Zaku 1s for space combat as Zeon and use them to push the EFF back to Luna 2 and stick them on guard duty only upgrading them to Fs and maybe giving them the beam platforms if the EFF launches a counter offensive, on earth just stick with Zaku 2 Ground Types until you get Doms, outfit said Zaku 2s with Magella Attack Cannon and Dodai. Keep your Zakus that like that further upgrades are a money sink and usually less effective. After getting Doms just cruise on them. Dom Cannons are absurd to the point of being able to duke it out with early Gryps suits even and Rick Doms/Rick Dom 2s are great as well being similarly effective but needing to get into melee to fight making them less opressive. Goufs kind of suck and are really just used for early ace suits and even then just use Dozle Custom Zakus they are more effective as an of fuck it's a Gundam/Gundive unit. Garma Custom Zaku's are the best early Zeon Ace suit for general use due to its perfect terrain stats so they can actually fight the enemies instead of slowly waddling through mountains. Everything else is really to flavor or taste for the Land and Space battle.

>>23470961So ace adapted suits don't have a limit on the number you're allowed to have they just have the condition of X pilot must be piloting Y mech then you can pay to turn it into their special ace custom. So, you can say make 3 Zaku 2 Commanders put Dozle in one turn it into a Dozle Custom, put him in the next turn it into a Custom and then turn the 3rd one into a Custom, the suit doesn't need Dozle to stay in it for it to be a Dozle Custom. The same is true for other ace suits so often times you can get a bigger power spike by having certain aces go around and retrofit a handful of suits into their specific custom for the rest of your army to use, the Dozle and Garma Zaku are the 2 big ones in the early game. For others to look out for the Char's Rick Dom is ridiculous it has 45 Mobility and 1-2 Range, and the Zaku Desert Type (Blue Team Custom) for being a solid ace suit that can ride on a Dodai, likewise with their Gelgoog being the only Ace Gelgoog that can ride a flight craft. After the one-year war Zeon Custom variants fall off a cliff for obvious reason.

EXAM suits are really cool but to even get them you need to throw a Newtype into the Newtype thresh. The IGLOO tech is mostly bad outside of the Ze'gok which is clunky but extremely powerful. The Apsalus is a money hole for a shittier Ze'gok, that requires you to sacrifice Norris for it. The Unified Complete Equipment Plan and Pezun Project are great and give new useful options. Juagg's the only notable Jaburo Invasion MS and is great at punishing Gryps era fliers by shooting them from underwater where they can't fight back, mass it if you want to do the cheeky Jaburo back cap.

Really both factions just need to leverage their huge resource lead you have from being 100+ turns into a campaign already.

Main issue is maintaining momentum until you can reliably kill gaza d and stronger units, or if you fuck up fighting the titans barzamsEFF fights delaz fleet, then axis, then either aueg or titans, then charIf you are really fucked you can stall against delaz, but everything after axis is a victory lapIn general tho on the ground Z'Gok-E's and Dom Cannons can last you a long ass time, while in space Hizacks and Gelgoogs can cope against Gaza C's/Nemos/Other Hizacks but you'll need to use your numbers advantage while it exists to push out enemies

Alright been messing around more with GG in a new Zeon campaign. I was retarded af at the start (got bogged down in New Yark for like 10 turns due to the enemy posting a gundam in the sea tile base and just staying there until I could gun it down from the air) but I feel like things are starting to swing my way. I've only JUST started to research my Doms around turn 30 or so and they're already tossing GMs and their variants at me. Something you should keep in mind is that aces sitting on their ass in a base are just a waste of a slot; they should always be on the offensives, rescuing a territory under attack, etc unless their fatigue is stupidly high. Hell, if you've got enough spare ace MS you could keep spares in their carrier for them to swap in to when their current MS is low on hp. But really, the sheer number also matters; if you play as a faction with a ton of aces (zeon) then you'll run out of ace MS and need to put people in whatever you can. Regardless, just try and work to the stats the ace has. People with high range get in an MS with a good ranged weapon, etc. Also, pay attention to the leadership and charisma stats of units. Charisma affects units in their stack, leadership affects units in their leadership range; higher ranked characters override the bonus of lower ranked ones, so don't ever willingly put someone like gopp near other aces.
