Headbringer, Cannonhead and Locksmith all have acrylic stands so they are considered as major characters.

Tian Qiang mould they could release vanilla version and Cannonhead variant.

Melander C3 could release Headbringer and Tenderfoot, not sure if they will make vanilla as it is too similar to HD-11 Melander.

It will be hard to fathom if they don't release both Cannonhead and Headbringer.

Locksmith requires a VP-40 and head and legs of HD-11 Melander. Head and legs are always on separate runners. A vanilla VP-40 and a Locksmith release could be likely.

Mixing vanilla VP-4 and Melander parts could produce many custom variants that builders could paint themselves.

i feel like they wanted to do dungeon crawler levels but it's incompatible with 6th gen gameplay in a few ways:
1. 6 has no minimap radar or automap to make maze traversal easier

I am just making this post for everyone else that wants to try the mouseinjector. The one made by "garungorp" is outdated and doesnt hook properly. You need to get one of the other forks made by either "vl4sty" or "GoldenLumia". These should work without any problems on all versions of duckstation including the latest stable one. They will also support more games.

AC6 is my first foray deep into it, discounting a few hours into AC4 way back on the 360 (filtered by sanic speed)

Im having a grand old time, aside from getting crushed by bosses. The helo in ch.1 wasnt too bad, balteus made me rage, and the sea spider i ugga duggad with explosives and damage reduction.

Been rolling with a gatling, javelin and either twin songbirds or songbird/missile launcher, about to see if i can up my early A ranks.

I can’t manage to hold my charged laser shotgun while fighting, especially since I have to multitask with three other weapons. I either forget to release it to shoot, or I miss the timing because I let go too early or forgot to charge. How does everyone else do it? I even searched for a setting to auto-charge, but it doesn’t exist. Help.

Try something like the twin shoulder gatling cannons so you dont have to think about them much. Or something with a long cooldown/startup time like the huge homing missiles.

Similar but different, I kind of dislike the modern balance of AC games largely being holding down four attack buttons.
It's kind of neat how older AC was more focused on a workhorse weapon, and then swappable weapons for different attacks. It's just very optimal to have four similar sorts of weapons and then stay in their range band.

I play on Steam Deck and I bind the extra buttons on the back for shoulder weapons, I have:
>R4 to shoot both shoulders at once, uncharged, good for missiles and orbits
>L4 to hold down both shoulders for charging, I press it once to begin charging and again to fire

I'm like 6 sorties in and I'm easily passing under 50% AP from getting raped in these, what would normally be, easy early missions. I did get the turn-speed optional part as well as upgrade my booster. It is obviously a pilot issue I'm just confused as to how I'm having skill issues when I've been playing through this series every other day for the last month. If you could have two resource meters for a weapon- absolutely. You got your bullets, you got your heat, and if you overheat then you get a quick barrell swap instead of slow cooldown. Kinda like a coral generator, but you only get to redline it a few times per match. High damage without miniguns' spinup time, but without redlining it's got too much downtime as it heats up quickly and cools down slowly, so you gotta use barrell swaps to maintain high DPS at strategic points in the match.

I keep the system unlocks (kick, weapon bay) but otherwise always play without them. A lot of missions actually become challenging again.
