Was this style of separate parts a success or a failure because it made a powerful mobile suits but this style doesn't further development as much compared to Zeta's successors

Zeta's successors were all trying to cut costs. The ZZ was even more expensive for a little additional firepower that could have been solved by strapping more guns onto the MS like the Rezel defensor packs

The Victory would've been even more perfect if it had a system like the Impulse's silhouette flyers ir F90s mission packs that can mount on the core fighter.

The V-Dash does this, but it's strange that they stopped development after one mission pack.
