How do you guys feel about the Lunedrache? Not Cross/Forte but the unit itself.I thought the base form was just ok. I liked the design but the animations aside from the finisher felt kind of off. I think Kogetsu/Kaguya is the best OG out of V/X/T/30 and pretty high up there in the overall series. They really nailed the super Ninja theme and all of its attacks are great. The giant energy shuriken, the Izuna Drop, clone gangbang and both finishers are all top tier.

I feel like a good comparison between them is that while Cross is more of a big name protagonist "already" like EW Heero or CCA Amuro, Forte is like (post-Wing) Hilde or Noin, or (post-MSG) Sayla thrust into the protagonist seat. Clearly still capable from the get-go, having made enough of a mark before to stand out, but with much more to "prove" as a protagonist, especially compared to her brother. Some are definitely going to resonate better with that kind of character arc that Forte goes through, showing she is actually capable of standing on her own two feet and not someone constantly in her brother's shadow, while others might prefer the more subtle problems that Cross has to face in balancing strict duty with newfound genuine familial love. I would say both are actually decently well done OG protagonist stories, myself, especially how they reflect different if similar parts of Echika's own story and arc.
