It's only a matter of time until Hasbro bites the bullet and pays TRIGGER a billion trillion dollars to make a Transformers series/movie.On a scale of 1 to 10, how much would you like to see it happen?

Transformers faggots in disguise
Anon Hasbro's brilliant plan to save Transformers after One bombed is to bring back Michael fucking Bay as normalfag bait. An anime is the furthest thing from their minds.
>>23530855>An anime is the furthest thing from their mindsIt's the only thing that can save the franchise.
>>23530855anime is now more mainstream than mikey "boom" bay, wake up gramps
>skibidi prime vs ohiotron
>>23530855I blame the retard that edited that horrible first trailer.
>>23530823Hasbro has no clue what to do with the franchise and probably won't do something big like this till around the end of the decade. They can't decide between catering to adult fans or younger kids which lead to Transformers One's marketing mess. At least the comics are still doing good or this franchise would be fucked.
>>23530962Doesn't matter. Hasbro is comically out of touch with reality and only cares about short term profits.
>>23530823Gridman is already teasing a sequel for april next year. They are announcing alot of shit leading to april. Its going to be a big event and theres been a random emphasis on the number 3.3 will also be the 3rd tv series if its a new series3 inverted equates to sigma
>>23530855Hasbro still hasn't figured out that virtually all of money from those Bay movies came from China, huh?
>>23532257>At least the comics are still doing good or this franchise would be fucked.Comics don't make any money so they're definitely fucked.
>>23531243I blame Key and or Peele
>>23530823Hasbro won't hire Trigger at all because whatever Trigger would do is not within their vision of the franchise, it would have to be a Takara Tomy only thing and Transformers performs so badly in Japan they're sure not gonna do it.>but the anniversarywas a 3 min vid, you're asking for a 12ep anime>>23532257>or this franchise would be fucked.the franchise is fine, TFOne failed because people weren't interested in an animated transformers movie, the trailer didn't help but no one really wanted to put down money to see it.>They can't decide between catering to adult fans or younger kids which lead to Transformers One's marketing mess. no, they were pretty firmly marketing the kids movie to kids, just that adults dont really wanna take kids to movies anymore and general audiences are kinda bored of Transformers movies, they're basically all the same
>>23532725>Transformers performs so badly in Japan they're sure not gonna do itHaven't you ever heard those stories about how when all hope was lost, they took a risk on something that appealed to otakus and then saw massive success?
>>23532725>TFOne failed because people weren't interested in an animated transformers movie, the trailer didn't help but no one really wanted to put down money to see it.It's so fucking funny to me that Transformers fans will bitch about Hasbro not giving the fans what they want, then when they DO make a movie that appeals to Transformers fans, nobody goes to see it and bomb like the 80's movie did. Either TF fans don't actually know what they want, or there simply aren't enough manchildren left who care about TF anymore. Probably a little of both.
>>23533451TFone sure as fuck wasn't what I wanted. I just wanted more of Bumblebee but ROTB was only partially that because Lorenzo can't let go of the Bayverse. At least the movie stumbled into the novel concept of just having a robot talk while in vehicle mode so they didn't have to spend more money to animate a CGI robot just for a scene or two. One of the producers must have a long standing grudge against Knight Rider or some shit because we never got that before despite it being so simple. And the 80s movie at least made its money back on home video and the extra cash it gave to Toei let them kickstart the Saint Seiya anime.
>>23533499>TFone sure as fuck wasn't what I wanted.Well that's part of the problem isn't it? Transformers fans aren't a monolith, they're a 300 headed hydra and every head is trying to kill the other ones. Shit's like Star Wars in that regard. You have the tumblrinas who really love the comics, the people who like the comics except for the gay robot love stories, Genwunners, people who think Beast Wars is peak fiction, people who unironically like Bayformers, people who ironically like Bayformers, people who only care about toys, people who watched like three episodes of the original cartoon as a kid because their dad had a video tape of it lying around. I could go on. Me personally, as a someone who just kinda likes the idea of Transformers more than anything, One seems interesting to me and it seems like a solid foundation for a new timeline. Megatron and Optimus being friends before the war starts is something I've always liked, the worldbuilding for Cybertron is neat, the designs are really cool. Them partially transforming during fights to use certain weapons is an awesome idea too. But them again that's just it: the movie SEEMS interesting to me but not enough for me to actually watch it. I've watched videos about it and read synopses, but my interest ends there. What's the point of watching the movie and really liking it now when it's going to be a setup for a new timeline that will never be followed up on? Like if I had kids I wouldn't even want to show it to them in case they actually like it, I remember what it was like as a kid really liking something only to find out it's never going to be finished or got cancelled.>And the 80s movie at least made its money back on home video and the extra cash it gave to Toei let them kickstart the Saint Seiya anime.True. And that's just not something that happens in this day and age regardless of quality. Hell I don't even think the toys they made for One are selling well enough to make up for the box office.
