Dancouga
>>23531529I am fond of Dancouga
Fun fact the UK is the only English country to get God Bless Dancouga officially. P.S. Sorry for low quality image as it is the only picture i can find of this tape
>>23531529okay okay, i will watch it. damn.
>>23538735Don't expect robot action right away. The big guy doesn't show up till the 16th episode.
>>23539020There's more than enough robot actions prior to that. Don't spread false info.
>>23539138There's also a few episodes of unfinished animation complete with animator notes.
>>23539020Fag. Some of the best sakuga animation is in the first 3 episodes.
>>23540694there's definitely chunks of the show where it feels like they're stretching reaaaaaaal thin until the next toy royalties check comes in
>>23539020Nah it still has plenty already of mecha action, and there’s good buildup to the big bot as well but once Dancouga actually shows up, it damn well shows up and goes full super robot mode
>>23541210Worse than machine robo?
>>23543372haven't seen enough of MR but it gets up there with some of the more notorious slide showsbut it's worth it to learn about the Nazca Lines of Detroit
>>23543372Both Machine Robo shows are more consistent than Dancouga but still suffer a bit from too many characters to deal with (like Transformers) and Battle Hackers has shortened episodes with tons of stock footage and scene transitions to pad things out. The narrator will literally stop the action to tell you how fucking cool R. Jetan is. Dorvack is actually one of the most consistently good looking Ashi Pro shows but Takatoku's sudden demise might have fucked them when going into Dancouga.
>>23543372Yes.
>>23541241There's so much more mecha action than there is character drama. Don't know what that other anon is going on about.
