A friend of a friend who is familiar with how Japan talent agencies work shared some interesting insights: even if Maya is innocent, she is more than likely blacklisted from accepting new roles or opportunities for one year. This is a normal ‘punishment’ for getting the agency involved in scandals . That said, any prior obligations should be fulfilled as it looks badder on the agency for not allowing the talent to commit. Things like the FLT, ChoEiyu, any other specials plus modeling shoots and film appearances should not be affected as all of those were contracted prior to the scandal. The fact Seju is seemingly pulling her out of everything at once implies either they are paying the very heavy cancellation fees or worse having Maya pay for them. Regardless, this behavior is very unusual and it’s making prospect talents avoid signing with Seju . It is also causing talents already signed to seek other agencies as the punishment for Maya is way too cruel for someone as new as her. If Maya was an experienced talent, then all of this would make sense. However she isn’t, and it is making apparent to people who signed around the same time as her that they need to get out while they can.

This show would be so good if it weren't for the Number One Battles, there's just no point to them. The goal of the show is to be the last ranger standing in the battle royale and collect all the rings, yet the fights have nothing to do with rings or rangers and take up most of each episode. The point of Gokaiger was to collect ultimate powers, and doing a silly MOTW fight would give them one. The point of Zenkaiger was to collect gears to free the other worlds, and doing a silly MOTW would give them one. It would make sense if doing a Number One Battle summoned a show's ring associated with that task, or anything to connect them at all really.
