Did Force Five ever get released on any form of media? I got a torrent from TPB year ago but it was obviously a home recorded VHS to DVD rip of 5 episodes with Boston PSAs like "Squash the Gypsy Moth!" and "COPY COP COPS".

Force Five being mentioned reminded me, someone told me that the Force Five dubs are functionally obsolete, that there's no reason to watch them outside of nostalgia or curiosity. To which I then reminded them that only the first 11 episodes of Toei Getter G are subbed, meaning, if you felt so inclined, you'd have to watch the Force Five version to see most of the rest of it in English. In fact now that I think about it, I think Gaiking's the only Force Five show that actually has complete, non-ARR subs.

Go Nagai never created Gaiking, there isn’t a single Japanese source with corroborates that story. The real reason Dynamic Pro stopped working with Toei was over unpaid royalties for Mazinger & Grendizer. We’ve been taking Wikipedia & the old-ass Italian articles it sourced at face value for far too long.
