I got an ultrasonic cleaner to get oils and sanding dust off of pieces after I'm done. However, the dust just stays after the water evaporates, and sanding dust can also persist in crevices. What can I do about this?

What does varying the PSI for painting do to the piece you are painting? Should you basically just go as low as you can atomized the paint? Or is there an interesting effect from going higher?

First impressions of the SNAA Tristan kit, goddamn this plastic is soft. It's kinda easier to clean up because of that, but also harder? The kits before the Mk-II aren't that great, and buying the Strike necessitates buying the Skygrasper as well which is sold separately (either that or the Perfect Strike expansion parts from P-Bandai, which does include the Aile, but at that point you may as well just buy the full retail Perfect Strike). Of the newer ones, the only one I've seen not get recommended much is the 00 Seven Swords, but I think part of that is just because it doesn't look as cool as 00 Raiser.This is all assuming that budget and pricing isn't an issue. For instance, the PG Exia supposedly is only good if you get the LED kit to go with it, but there are third-party ones that are probably just as good if not better while not costing an arm and a leg.

The first time they tried gaining fans in the West they thought showing the original 0079 after showing Wing would get people onboard U.C.For some reason they treat the original show and movie comps as some sort of untouchable baseline that they can only dance around and not remake or update. Instead you only get derivates based off the original work like Char Origin OAV, the Doan's Island movie, GQuux, or Thunderbolt but nothing that actually goes back and takes a look at the source show again.

From afar it looks nicer than something snapped together but when I inspect it up close I get to see all the brush strokes and bits of pooled paint and chipped off paint from when I assembled the pieces.I painted the insides of some pieces thinking I might as well tighten the joints only to make assembly needlessly strenuous.

I found it in my nub cup, used Mr. Cement S to glue a bit of similar size/color runner to the end, and I'm waiting for the new peg to cure for a bit before I cement it in place at the back of the heel. Hopefully, it'll hold once it comes time to do the armor.

>>23553437Oh, it's WAY too tiny for drilling. The peg itself is smaller than the tiniest drill bit. But I'm optimistic about it. The weirdly soft plastic that SNAA uses melts really well. After a few passes with the Mr Cement, I can't even see the seam between the original peg and the replacement sprue.

As a result, it is a bit wobbly.I've seen some complains about this but you can tighthen the space with paper around the connector if you want, not to mention this prevents accidents like the MG Sinanju where that same connector is prone to snap due to how tight it fitsanother thing to note is that the center of gravity of the kit the when standing up leans backwards, that is why the little landing gears of the binders of the FA backpack are important, as they provide the neccesary support to prevent that
Successful attachment of the new heel peg. A bit longer than the other leg, at a bit of an angle, but it feels solid. Lesson learned. Make sure not to get too distracted by what you're watching as you build.
