The LED kit for the MGEX unicorn will just stop working for no reason. That said, I don't find the majority of Bandai kits to be overpriced. I built the Gqux police zaku recently and it's fantastic for ¥2,200. Obviously bootlegs will be cheaper because they don't have R&D costs and labor/materials/sourcing are cheaper in China but most Bandai kits are within a reasonable price.

I wish I actually liked the designs of changpla. It's a shame they seemingly have no sense of restraint and just make everything look like a supercar had a child with a section of the deathstar.

But because of the retarded original design of the legs, I need to now assemble, seam weld, repaint the white of the legs with all the red bits in place. Feels like one step forward 10 steps back so that has kept me paused since July. So pissed that the reissue of the red frame fixed the knees.
