I want a war taking place in hell. Both sides have been killing and maiming each other for years, with none of the dead actually staying dead. Everyone forgets over time the cost of the war and returns to a battle that never ends. The only hope of escaping is coming to grips with the sins committed in all your past lives and working to atone for just as long. That or a timetravel war.
