How do I get through Zeta? Does it get better? I'm at episode 18 and I'm bored. Other than a few moments there's been nothing interesting plot wise happening, the fights feel like repetitive filler, and the animation can't carry it either. I don't see why everyone glazes this one and I've enjoyed everything else of the UC I've seen more (Origin, 0079, 8th MS, 0080, 83, various bits of others)

NTA/not OP but the only things I messed up for production order in UC was watching 08th MS Team before Stardust Memory, and watching F91 after. The OVAs were generally referred to and recommended as one chunk, and I'll definitely rewatch at least 0083 after Zeta. Still finishing up production order for Turn A, how badly did I fuck up? Zeta is a DIRECT SEQUEL. If you watch a bunch of shit OVAs in-between by a bunch of different writers you are going to miss a bunch of Tomino stuff.0083 has jack shit to do with anything. It was only made a decade later after Zeta because sales were in a slump. Thats it. They are supplemental stories to the main story that is Tomino's and Char's story.Sure you are technically interacting with these works, but not in the same way society as a whole did.
