If he studied cinematography and lighting, then he would know that objects and dip in and out of darkness. >>23575725Digital anime started in like 2000, back then computers sucked ass and couldn't produce 1080p video, so they had to ink/color at a lower res like 720p, they couldn't be bothered to make it look more analog(kinda like g-reco's lineart and color palette). Anime went through a "reset" where it looked like shit and eventually everyone got used to the shit and didn't desire good looking anime....they just wanted more moe shit and big tits so anime became cheap shit and stayed that way.Would've been nice if they just kept tracing cgi like with Unicorn but that's just too much to ask for.
