The most you can do is the "Char's Gundam the Origin" where it's a half prequel/half early One Year War.And during the early One Year War, not a lot of action happens after Zeon conquers 50% of Earth. Both sides enter this stalemate. Zeon is stretched to the max. And the Federation is hiding in Jaburo.
The gundam is also a grunt and I'm tired of pretending it's not. MA are the monstrously powerful ones.
Last time they tried we got Requiem for Vengeance so maybe its better if they don't
