I don't get why LoGH kept going on after episode 54. Reinhart got his empire, the Alliance was in shambles, everyone went home, and by every metric the story should have ended. And yet it decided to keep going. There is this plot about the Church of Terra, but outside of like three episodes neither side seems to directly address the problem despite the fact they're behind a shitload of problems. It feels like filler, like the staff was waiting on the author to finish books so they were padding things out to stall time.
>>23568578It's a lot like Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion: Act like something westerners will recognize and acknowledge gay people exist. Suddenly it's adult sci-fi for the cool 90s kids. Same logic applies to stuff like Berserk and Utena. In fact there is kind of a formula with all the "hip" 90s anime Americans like when you get right down to it.
>>23568578>>23568584Fuck off duel.
>>23568578>Dude I don't know why real world history kept going after 1945 That's you.
>>23568578Many plot threads were yet to be resolved, it wasn't just about Reinhard becoming Kaiser.
>>23568599This is a fictional setting, not real life, so the comparison you made is not apt.
>>23568707LOL.LMAO perchance.
damn.
>>23570208I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the fake out before was so funny.
